Prahran Hotel reviews
81The Prahran Hotel never disappoints. The food is always great and the staff are always lovely. It’s a fab option for a mid-week dinner catch up with friends or a casual date night.
Came here for a mate's 50th. Great finger food, top notch service and an all round great night!
I’ve travelled quite a bit and this guy was single handedly the worst quiz host ever. Chicken Parma was good and waitress was nice though. I am giving 4 stars as I don’t want to ruin the reviews as I can’t hold the horrendous quiz host responsible for the establishment
Hopefully by this side of Christmas when I stop chewing their steak I'll get over how much money I spent tonight.btw this shouldn't be called mushroom sauce.it's a paste.well I'm off now.need to try and catch this movie.we're watching Elvis tonight.but we're late because we literally waited 55min for the food to come out.
Nice place. Love the decor and interior style. Food is okay. Most of our steaks are served a bit too well done.
Love the steak night special. Decent portion and great atmosphere. Perfect for a Tuesday catch up dinner with mates
This was my 3rd time at the pub, kept hoping they were just having a bad night!
The food Is average at best, service wasn’t much better. Won’t go back
This venue looks amazing
And the food is great
It’s a great location
They have a cute atrium in the middle which is dog friendly
The staff have been quite rude a few times. Not all the staff, just a selected few on random nights. The day staff after work are lovely. It’s some random weekend staff that just make you feel bad for bringing your dog into the atrium or not being suited up etc.
Came here for dinner, service was good, the food was terrible. I ordered the swordfish, it was cooked through, obviously it had been cooked from frozen in a pan with water, it was soggy, over salted. The fennel with the dish also had dirt in it, not nice to bite into. For a very simple dish, it was poorly executed. The portion size of the fish w have been 150g at best, for a $44 main course. The potatoes were literally a suggestion, maybe 30g on the plate. I normally don't give poor reviews, I've been in hospitality almost 20 years, but something had to be said. $44 for an undersized, poorly prepared, over salted dish, not good enough.
Loved it! Celebrated my son’s 18th birthday here and the venue was excellent. The staff and management were incredibly easy to deal with and made the evening memorable for my son and all his friends. The atmosphere was a nice blend between the modern and what makes old pubs special. Nice food and art deco ambience. Thank you.
Had a lovely Christmas at The Prahran Hotel looked after by Olivia, food and service was extraordinary. Will be back
Had dinner with a group of friends, the food was great and the service from the lovely Kat behind the bar was exceptional.
My group got served by Clem tonight and he had such an amazing vibe! We walked away so happy with his awesome customer service ️
I was impressed, which is very easy to do, but not so easy that I wouldn't stay up late the week after to write something on my 2010 Mac Pro
We had a birthday celebration here. The foods are delicious with big portions - great value for money. The staff are friendly and tend to our needs very well. Although it’s a bar, much to our delight, it’s quiet when we dined in. The internal environment is spacious with plants everywhere. The seat design is unique and inviting. Excellent experience from all fronts.
Overall very nice pub but substandard Sunday Roast. We went with the objective of having a good Sunday feed but the spirit of the Sunday roast was butchered down to a very tasty cube of potatoes and cube of lamb shoulder (with a good gravy & tiny whole onion).
I think it would be a good place to take the pretty half Polish, half Greek, half Dutch, half Kiwi girl you were trying to impress but a curly fries or chicken nugget run after would also be required.
The hunt will continue for a good local roast.
. The sticky pudding dessert was VERY good, almost made up for 50% of the main which was missing.
Oh and the staff were 10/10
Not great not the worst, ordered the $50 T Bone special. Chips bland no salt, salad was just mixed lettuce, at least put some effort into the salad if the chips are poor quality. Steak was reasonably cooked. Tiny jug of red wine jus. 5.5/10
Called in for a drink, friendly staff it was happy hour, the menu looks great will be back

Had a little get together today. From booking a table to the service, all was easy as. The wait staff was great, had an eye out for us and we never had to wait long for anything. First time in Australia that I have tipped because the service was awesome. Everyone enjoyed their food and the drinks are reasonably priced. Thanks PH, we had a great evening.
