72Thank you for being one of the only retailers not to charge jacked up prices for high demand items. When prices did inevitably rise you were the last to pass it on. Very happy to receive my pre-ordered GPU for a reasonable price and prompt timeframe.
My custom PC build here had a 5+ month waiting time, customer service was good but that's the only positive thing I can say about this company, my case alone (nzxt h510) had a 2 month waiting time, I've cancelled my order and have taken my business elsewhere.
They had my order (RTX3060Ti) ready for a week without telling me (email or phone) that it was ready. I had to enquire myself because when I checked my online account they put orders as "completed" even when it's not.
They confirm that they don't follow up orders not been picked up in case email not received, it is really bad communication.
They did not even apologise. They didn't even pretend to care or take any feedback on board, "that's just the the system".
Warranty is 1 week less because of the wait, would not put the pickup in writing in case of warranty
Make sure you follow up with them regularly even if you don't know the ETA because they won't tell you anything. Even if they tell you not to because their call volumes are so high.
No wonder call volumes are high when everyone has to take it upon themselves to follow up.
I don't even know how they have enough shelf space for all the orders awaiting pickup.
I could have had it in time for Christmas

Update: I have been given an apology and they have looked into their system not sending out pickup emails, so I have updated the review from 1* to 4*
Customer service guy over the phone has the rudest, shortest responses to an order inquiry I've ever encountered in my life.
This place is the best! Had never bought anything here before but it was the only shop that had clear information on expected stock levels of the mighty nvidia rtx so i figured I'd give them a shot. I was very impressed! The staff were friendly and professional, I wasn't waiting in there for hours like some places, and my gfx card was sealed in the box unlike so many PC parts I've purchased elsewhere. Will be buying all my computer gear from PLE from now on. They have definitely raised the bar!
Always great with communication with any of my orders and even helped me out with a predicament with some brackets for my new water cooler

Very pleased with my purchase experience from PLE. The shopfront is attractive, the staff seem like friendly folks. My click & collect order process was very smooth - you can scan the barcode in your confirmation email upon entering the store. About 30 seconds later, someone called out my name and handed over the order. Too easy.
PLE Heatherton and the PLE Online Store are a nightmare to deal with. I made an order in late October early November 2020. A week later i was wondering why i had not received and email saying the products had been dispatched so rung the store in Heatherton. After being on hold for 20 minutes a very rude, condescending guy answers the phone. I give him my order number and ask if the parts have been dispatched yet. I get a "No" and that's it so ask why? "I don't know, we are busy". So I ask any idea when the parts will be sent and i get a "I dont know, maybe today, i have no idea"
Not feeling very confident with the way the guy spoke to me on the phone i send a email hoping someone a bit more friendly will reply. Thankfully i get a bit more information and am told "We are a week behind in orders due to Covid, we will be sending the products early next week" I left it another week and still no email saying the parts were dispatched so asked for a refund and got it 2 days later.
Im not sure what is going on with PLE but the feedback iv got from others has been similar to my experience.
1) They don't send products on time, and they completely fail to communicate with why there is a delay. The website also says they have stock when they don't.
2) When having to deal with their customer support you have to deal with people who don't have communication skills and are rude.
I took my money (And it was around 5000$) and spent it at M Wave instead. My parts were dispatched on time and the communication was excellent. I think if i had waited for PLE id still be waiting for my parts to arrive.
Easy to deal with and I was pleasantly surprised by their great customer service compared to other computer shops!
The mention of a possible few weeks wait for a year-old failed CPU was particularly disconcerting. Acceptance of the return was processed well, but the forecast looks inclement. We shall see.
It was good got a brand new computer and a monitor and a free mouse mat also a power block charger inside there were a lot of chairs there because they were renovating the store but it's done now

Glad I bought my system through them, even though I am based interstate. As when there was any issues with my PC setup they were quick to supply a postal return label and managed to fix the issue quickly and return the machine to me.
Fantastic customer service, really excelled at ensuring customer came first when my graphics card died. Always been a well priced source in the local area but the service experience has made sure I won't look anywhere else for computer parts in future.
I want even planning on buying here yet but ben still took a lot of tike to talk with us. He even wrote an email with paragralhs of information, tips and resources. The prices here are quitr good as well.
I reccomend here.
I've waited almost two weeks for my order to process and to my surprise some of the items that I order was out of stock which is available when I placed my order. Such a waste of time!
Although the website and account management is great, they had no sense of urgency in completing my credit order. Therefore I have been forced to not work on YouTube videos for a month! I still have not received the graphics card that I ordered in replacement and I have not received an email in response for two days now. I hope they can do better on my next order if I choose to order from them.
Great friendly service. Al there l are PC, gaming and building enthusiasts. Always ready to help with your personal build and water cooling project. I am more in favour of the personal encounter then getting an order number to buy a part I need. Good to see staff passionate in what they do.
Ive said it before, these guys are fn awesome, the crew down at the Heatherton are GREAT nothing is a hassle, Carly is great to (give the chick a pay rise) gave top service as well just recently, Still mourning the loss of Robert from the store, i believe he moved on, he was a top bloke.
Wayyyyy better then those morons at pccg, they lost me.
