We had one of the BEST wine tastings ever at this beautiful boutique winery!
Kylie our host was no only very knowledgeable but also super hospitable. And did I mentioned that the wine was exquisit?
Do yourself a favour and visit Pfeiffer pfor a pfabulous wine tasting when in the Rutherglen area!
And our dogs loved it too!

Up there with the top 3 wine tastings that we have done in Vic/SA! We were hosted by Sue, and I would like to say, what a pleasure! A very informative and personable experience. Sue took the time to ask our personal tastes and then challenged us with new and varied varieties of whites, reds and fortified wines, some of the best in the region! Pffeifers wines estate is not only a beautiful, cared for property but a true gem for a day out or wine enthusiasts.

Visited Pfeiffer wines, was lucky enough to have Robyn serve and inform us on their great wines. Her knowledge and her friendly manner made it an exceptional experience that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Rutherglen area for wines and great hospitality. Furthermore all other staff came across as friendly and were a pleasure to deal with. Thankyou

Amazing atmosphere! As soon as we pulled up I felt comfortable and welcomed. We purchased a bottle after a quick tasting and had a quick walk around. Only had a short drop in but will plan a longer stay next time.
Will definitely visit again, also great for kids.

We booked the wine tasting at Pfeiffers for Sunday of Roam Rutherglen and cannot think of a better place to spend an afternoon. We had the opportunity to taste all they had to offer, with expert commentary on what to expect from each wine. Wonderful day, fantastic staff, delicious wines. What a combination!

Beautiful down by the river, and the tasting experience was wonderful. Well worth a visit.

Not normally wine drinkers we stopped in for a look and were warmly welcomed. I don't mind a port every so now and then and l was offered to taste some. With such a friendly approach to customer service and with generosity to serve up several ports without charge l brought few bottles. A great atmosphere and some really nice ports on offer of which l liked the classic topaque. Well done to the lady who served us today (sorry l missed your name) we felt very welcomed and will remeber this visit for a long time. 10/10

We had a lovely experience at Pfeiffer wines! Chris has a wealth of knowledge, we are greatful that we had him teach us about the fortifieds we where tasting. Thank you for guiding us through our first wine masterclass We are now members and walked out with 7 bottles Cant wait to come back!

We visited today (Wednesday) and had the pleasure of Jean talking us through a tasting. Both educational and an all around great time, Jean was great! Wish we could have spent more time chatting but had a lunch booking. Hope to be back one day in future. Also - fantastic wines. Riesling was a must try. Beautiful grounds, amazing people. Also- happy birthday to your sheep Jean!?

I came to taste a few wines and ended up tasting a lot of wines. Their $10 tasting allows you you try their whole selection of wines and which is amazing value for money and a great experience. Make sure you book the bridge to take a bottle of wine down with some cheeses

Best experience on my Rutherglen weekend
Excellent staff, very informative, surprising wine that I like.can not fault the experience. Came on the Saturday at 4pm but could not fit us in. Came back on the Sunday and was remembered so tables were made available for us.the guides were so over welcoming and explaining of all the wines made this the most enjoyable experience I had thus far.thank you

This is one of my favourite wineries in the Rutherglen region. The gardens are amazing the river is beautiful the building had so much charm and character it could be in politics! The staff are wonderful and you'll love the wines. I drink too much of Jennifer's muscat but let's not that secret get out! All in all its a must if your in the area and love a good time. I've seen many great artists play in the garden and the atmosphere is fantastic.

We had the best time Rutherglen food and wine festival The absolute standout of all the wineries was Pfeiffer Wines we were made to feel so welcome and the wines are delicious. I am still smiling thinking about what a great time we had. If you are ever down that way do yourself a favour and drop by. Don't be suprised if you leave with box full of wines like we did

Best winery experience I’ve ever had and we went with kids! We were served by a young lady that was absolutely fantastic. She included the kids and gave them a cordial tasting experience that they keep talking about. My 7yo says it was the highlight of his holiday and he did allot. We ordered a cheese platter and slurpies and sat by the river which was magic. We fed the turtles and giant fish and watched them swim around for ages. We had planned to go to other wineries that day but had spent so much time here we didn’t need to. The wine is also exceptional and very cheap for how good it is. We can’t stop talking about this place. I live in the Yarra valley and have been to wineries all around the world, but this place is the best!

Looked after by Jean afer arriving late in the day. We'd seen several other wineries, having only had one day in Rutherglen. Jean - and the whole team - were sensational. Looked after us, organised a tasting at little notice and what a treat that was! Jean really knows her stuff and the fortified wines were a delight.

Amazing wines. We especially loved the topaques and muscats. Robyn Pfeiffer was extremely friendly and helpful. Her and Chris were both a wealth of knowledge.
