Peppers The Sands Resort

This is a beautiful place. We had such a lovely weekend here and plan to return soon. Highly recommended.

I visit the restaurant here for coffee in the morning with my grandparents when visiting Torquay. The staff are lovely, excellent coffee, and nice indoor and outdoor seating.

Pleasant setting for work-related events. The hotel amenities include a 25 metre pool (possibly too heavily chlorinated but otherwise good). The room opened on to the golf course which meant a decent view and a few bird species within metres of the glass. Spotted a blue tongue lizard while I was there.

Really nice area and grounds. Rooms are okay and clean with standard inclusions you would expect. Gym facilities wede great and very extensive weights area. Lots of conference room facilities with catering options. Restaurant was a little small. Resort is a little removed from the main town but taxi was easy to get. Would recommend for couples but not really focused on families.

Large rooms tasteful decorated great value for money. Bailee was a great help with recommendations at check in. So nice to have someone help. Rather than just laboriously doing their job

After my 2 year old nephew passed away the parents stayed here & were taken care of in an amazing way. The restaurant was closed & reopened for the family on the night of this tragedy. The waitress, Juliana, was impeccable. She even changed shifts to work after the wake when we came back for dinner that night. Great consideration & compassion was shown by all staff at the Sands & I would recommend them for showing such kindness in a time of need.

We came here and played golf for the day. Overall it was really nice (despite my score), and I'd love to head back and play again one day.

Went to the Sands Restaurant (Hanners) not expecting much but when I was served by staff member Dane, I was utterly surprised by the amazing service of this young lad. He brought my food out in a timely manner & my drinks too. I will be returning!

Very nice, clean room friendly staff. Only not so good things was the noise from the floor above and bed was older

Standard rooms, clean and quiet. Nice bar and seating area overlooking the Course. Good place for a corporate function

The bath was great, room service was prompt and staff were professional. However, we had issues with breakfast where reception and the restaurant lacked communication as we had already paid for breakfast on entry.

Stayed at Peppers Torquay for one night as a Groupon special with my partner. The ground floor room was fantastic, all staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. We dined at Hanners, where the staff were again fantastic and the food very tasty and reasonably priced. Its location away from all of the hustle and bustle was also appreciated. Give it a try.

Loved it! So relaxing, room was clean, close to the beach. The soaps etc were divine. Overall a fabulous resort.

Great resort! The staff is super nice and the course looks amazing. Not too much to do if you’ve got jet lag though and wake up early.

It’s an amazing resort ️️ it’s a great place for relaxing. Children are most welcome. The staffs are so kindly.

Lovely resort, great rooms, great showers, friendly staff. Breakfast was great, but dinner came out cold, took an hour to come out, and wasn't particularly amazing, which is why only 4 stars.

Good, challenging, well maintained golf course. Good pro shop and bistro/bar. Friendly staff. A good place for golf with the boys or a family holiday.

Super friendly and respectful staff from reception, room service to restaurant, providing outstanding service. They made us feel welcomed. Various options on the breakfast buffet. Great for family as it's kids friendly and there is kids toys and books in the outdoor setting area. Upon arrival, they fauve my daughter colouring bag.

Service was friendly, hotel was mostly clean. Unfortunately the bed was really hard and uncomfortable for both my wife and I. The shower made up for the bed, as it was amazingly hot and had great pressure.like a massage
