Paris Go Bistro reviews
80A tiny slice of Paris. Unassuming from the outside but on the 2 occasions I had lunch there, quite busy with what seemed to be repeat visitors. The food is good quality at a very competitive price. With professional friendly staff. The steak tartare is a very generous plate of chunky eye fillet, and they’ll adjust the spice to your liking. Truffle omelette is bloody great. Steak Frites are good but the Bourgignon is a better choice in my view.
The baguette and cheese sucked. Knowing these two are basics and probably the most consumed back home it's ridiculous. The goat cheese ravioli had no taste, when you see the price tag for these 4 raviolis you'd think they could have forked out for a better cheese. Probably okay by Australian standards but I don't see how any French would be satisfied by this. I had food from there twice and both time it was quite underwelwing to say the least. Tries to surf on the expectation of French food being good and "classy" to justify the price tag. I'm assuming the owners and chef would be french so I don't see how they'd think this is good food.passez votre chemin
Always a delight to visit. Magnifique food and wine with a genuine brasserie atmosphere. I enjoy it so much, I've been coming back for about 15 years for low key nights out, a catch up with friends and for milestone celebrations.
A very well set up French restaurant, loving waiting staff who were more than happy to answer questions in regards to wine/food, quality was just amazing. Not over done just simple quality ingredients matched beautifully, would recommend the barramundi & scallops. Was cooked to perfection. The bread was fresh, soups were delicious.
A must try for French food in Melbourne
Moderately priced & well presented
Everything is outstanding!
It's been quite a few years in between visits with 10+ years on that, but the quality has not wavered at all!
The food is impeccable and the portions are well sized!
The decor sits like it was made specifically for Paris Go.a truly enjoyable evening no matter the occassion!
The staff are also very informative and lovely, they have excellent recommendations should you find yourself torn between two dishes!
The béarnaise sauce is a must try!
If their second rate creme brulee is anything to go by, then give this place a miss. Simple dessert, very disappointing, do it right or just don't do it at all. I thought this would be the France-Soir of the North side but it's far from it.
Had an amazing dinner, the staff were friendly and approachable and the food was incredible. Couldn't pick a favourite from the duck, quail or veal but know I'll be back to try to again!
I have attended this wonderful restaurant many times now and even late last night I popped in with a friend and asked for dessert and coffee nothing was too much trouble. Melbournes best waiter Hugo is incredible always pleased to see you. Service always incredible
A little bit expensive, but delicious and authentic French style food. My family try to get in around 3 to 4 times a year. Sometimes more.
Nice decor, patient polite attentive staff, quick service and the most jaw dropping food I’ve had in a long time. Super recommend!
I really like the authenticity of this Bistro, good French fare and reasonable wine pricing. I'll be back. Tre Bon
The escargot here is the best I've tried. There's some smoky and mushroom umami flavour to it, and they had some crispy edges on the snails. It was a fantastic experience. Their confit lamb shoulder and beef bourguignon were amazing as well. Will definitely visit again.
Paris Go is one of my favourite French restaurants and a definite "go to" for duck (canard a la montmorency)
Chef Gabriel has been dishing up for his loyal supporters and new clients for many years. Nora looks after the front of house and together, the team is there to make sure you have an enjoyable time at Paris Go.
Excellent food and good service in comfort. Delightful lunch and great way to end the year. We will be back in 2022 for sure.
While other snub French restaurants were selling only "cook at home" frozen packs with ridiculous price, Paris Go Bistro was one of the few restaurants actually offered "cooked" French cuisine with reasonable price that I could take away. My partner was having his b'day 2nd time under lockdown, I wanted to prepare French Feast in the park for him and Paris Go Bistro helped me to realise this plan! Food was amazing, everything was perfect!
Delicious food, authentic french cuisine, I felt at home for a few hours. Excellent service, lovely staff and high quality food.
We appsulute love it, service and food amazing and waiter was funny. Thanks again, we will return
Nice ambiance staff are attentive and the food, is rich in flavour as french cuisine should be this place should be on list for authentic French cuisine.
Had a really nice meal here with a group of friends. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. The menu was well presented and the ingredients fresh. We had a wide variety of dishes and enjoyed each of them.
Beautiful restaurant. The dishes were delightful. Customer Service wise, the greeting that we have had with the waitress on Friday night was a bit abrupt but the 2 waiters who were serving throughout the night were excellent. Thank you all for making our night pleasant.
