For 3 years in a row I have been member from Palace. Always with promotions and discounts for us. My favourite cinema in Melbourne. Always with nice movie festivals. Highly recommended! No many noisy people like Village or Hoyts.

Such a beautiful Cinema. Came to watch Westwood. Parking available around the corner connected to the building.

There is no free parking nearby at the typically needed times but the character and comfort of the place makea up for that. Plenty of yummy food and drink available with sufficient other eateries an easy walk away.

A great small cinema, but the experience varies on the cinema you're in.the events they have on are usually really good too!

Great films for discerning audiences, in a comfortable and stylish setting. Good wines and beers available at the bar, and permitted to be enjoyed in the cinema during the film.

Lovely arthouse independent cinema that has mainstream films plus over eight international film festivals for three weeks each, each year.

Being able to by yummy hot and cold snack meals with a glass of wine before the show as well as your popcorn jaffas and choc top makes it a lovely clean and tasteful experience

It's a cinema showing arthouse films. It's worth a visit but it's expensive to park. You'd be better going to another Palace cinema where parking's not so expensive.

Great cinema. Plush environment. Does commercial Hollywood films as well as art and foreign. Beautiful classy environment to have a drink. Get a membership and tix are even cheaper. Pure class.
Village and hoyts are overpriced and shabby in comparison to what you get here!

Where the film is only one part of the experience. They offer extra presentations to movies. It's hard to keep a cinema going these days but palace keep it interesting.

The place itself is all right, but it all depends on your luck when you watch a movie - there could be (mainly) artsy people who try to be fancy (and watch French and art movies), but really don't have manners. Can make noise during the movie. So yeah, the facility is nice, but the patrons, not so much. Good luck.

One of my favourite cinemas. Curates good films, has a money back offer if you don’t like the film and leave within 30 mins, good food and beverage selection, easy parking (although costs around $10). Would rate it 5 star if the screens were bigger.

Cinema with old world charm. You can have a bevie from the bar before, during or after your film. Shows alot of arty farty films. Has a fairly conservative local audience that attend here. Good to try at least once.

Nicely appointed and comfortable cinema within the up market Como complex of Toorak Rd. Quality cinemas with good sound, generous seating and leg room. A very nice licensed cafe cum snack bar which serves as a nice pre and) or post cinema meeting point. Surrounded by ba wide choice of eating and drinking options in Toorak Rd and Chapel St. Easy walking distance to South Yarra Station
