O.N.S Boutique Designer Dress Hire Melbourne

Really recommend hiring from ONS, loved my dress, hiring was super easy and customer service was really helpful and friendly!

Ordered the Dominique Asym dress online for a cocktail event. Service was prompt and was sent in a timely manner. Return post envelope was included in the price which made my return a breeze. Will definitely use ONS boutique for my future events x

If you're any bigger than a size 10 they don't have many style options. 90% of the dresses they have are skin tight which depending on your body type, may or may not be flattering. I discussed with two different workers the type of dress I was looking for and after discussing what I was after neither worker could find a dress to suit my size 12 curvy figure. Once they'd both "given up" trying to help me find a dress, they focused on other clients, ignoring me for the rest of my time there. Not a very size inclusive store, which is ridiculous because I'm not even plus sized.

Really rude and condescending customer service. Wanted to rent a dress but poor customer service put me off. I hand an appointment and they canceled without telling me while I was on my way there. They are overpriced and the whole environment is horrible. The changing rooms are the furthest away from private and I felt extremely uncomfortable. The way the shop is are set out means girls are just walking all over each-other and was not a comfortable or relaxing experience that it is meant to be. They have a nice selection of dresses but would rather spend my money at store that actually values their customers.

ONS boutique is fantastic!

I had such a pleasant experience at ONS boutique, I tried on so many dresses and had the super lovely staff suggest lots of different options to me, they helped me find the perfect outfit!

I will definitely be hiring from ONS boutique again for all my future events. As a 37yr old mum of one, I didnt want anything too fitted, too short or too revealing, I found more dresses suited me than I thought I would, they are also super affordable and great quality dresses.
I would highly recommend!

Loved the dress that I rented from here and got so many compliments about it! Lovely store with a great selection of dresses. I did have a bit of a poor customer service experience though - I came alone and the staff hardly helped me at all which was quite disappointing as I had never rented a dress before, and when they did interact with me they were rather rude. They were also out of my size for most of the styles I liked, plus the change rooms weren’t private at all which left me feeling quite uncomfortable, especially as there was an older man in the store at the time. The staff who were working when I dropped the dress back though were super friendly and it was a really easy hand off! Might come back if I have a fancy event to attend

The staff at O. N. S Hawthorn were so patient and knowledgable. They were able to offer suggestions and assited with alterations and we never felt rushed. So impressed with the efficient pick up and drop off. Will definitely use them again.

Ladies this is an absolute no brainer, brand label gowns and dresses for all occasions. This makes looking like a red carpet a celebrity affordable. The hire process is easy and the staff are amazing ️

The dress stank of BO which I only noticed when I got it home and when I told the staff on its return they simply said "well it IS a hire dress" and didn't offer any sort of resolution.

It hadnt been cleaned since the last customer wore it actually. I saw the staff member pick it straight from the dirty laundry/returns hamper behind the counter for me to try on after confirming for me it had only just been returned by the customer. But thank you for blaming those who tried it on, including me. It had a smokey, musty and perfume smell at this point and the staff member apologised as it hadnt been cleaned yet. I presume these smells were masking the embedded BO smell. Or perhaps someone else tried it on after it was cleaned and before I picked it up the next day.
As explained when i dropped it off, i did not notice the smell on pick up and only noticed when I tried it on once i got home. If you recommend customers smell the underarms of all of the dresses they hire before hiring (or indeed, smell the dress itself) rather than your staff actually checking the dress has been cleaned properly then that's a very interesting approach. As is blaming a customer when something goes wrong. Perhaps let customers know going forward that they should also smell your dresses as you dont check them yourselves.

Also, as explained to your staff, i noticed it when i already had it on to go straight to an important event so it was too late to then bring it back to you (you had closed for the day too). Thanks for your inaccurate and unhelpful reply blaming your customers.

Bad environment.curtains are shocking and the girls there were trying to rush us to get out of the change room.very stressful, rushed and unpleasant experience

ONS has been my saviour for 3 years now. I go to so many events for work and it used to cost me a fortune. Then I found ONS and couldn't be more happy with the service that the girls give me every time I go in. I don't live close so I go in and try everything on but then get the dresses delivered to me. They usually arrive early so I've got plenty of time to get organised which is ideal because I often travel with them for the work functions. Returning the dresses is easy too because they send a prepaid post bag. I have even returned dresses in their other stores interstate some times or swapped a dress over. Thanks girls I will be back again.

ONS were wonderful from start to finish. My dress was absolutely beautiful and made my 30th birthday celebrations even more special.
