Okami (Fairfield) - Japanese All You Can Eat reviews
79 Excellent service
Food was delicious
Portions are small but perfect for sampling everything on the menu
The staff are fabulous, clear away dishes quickly & bring out ordered food quickly
Best service I have experienced besides top silver star dining
All our quests at dinner were extremely pleased with the service & food
I will be recommending this place for more family and friends functions
Thank you to the restaurant for very tasty food & the AWSOME service!
Delicious food and amazing service. They were very accommodating and I would like to thank them for their fantastic service. Look forward to visiting again soon:)
Great price for great food! This place is always so busy and that's what made me want to check this place out. Loved the different varieties on the menu, especially the dumplings! And I must add - the staff complied to all hygiene practices and it was quite impressive.
Amazing spread of authentic Japanese cuisine. Super value for the 'All you can eat' with a range of starters and mains along with house made ice creams.
Really good food. Helpful and friendly staff. The food was great and plentiful for a fixed price all you eat menu.
Excellent selection of freshly prepared dishes. Staff are attentive and friendly. Love the black sesame icecream. Pricing structure provides great value so go really hungry!
Early session probably better for families and those (like me) who prefer a quieter dining experience as evenings can get really busy and noisy.
It's very oily and forever waiting for food also they messed up our order. Quality of food is average, the restaurant in the city is much better. The only good thing about dinner we're the gay waiters.
Fun place! There's a limited menu and you pick items from that menu. You can order as many times as you want. Don't miss the sesame ice cream!
Good food, very friendly and attentive staff. Very busy all the time so its best if you book before you go there, chances of getting a table without booking are slim
I chose my favorite braised chicken, which is very large in size and served with a small amount of salad.taste good. Others use potato croquettes and eggplant salads as the main food. Tofu is a bit awkward, much like jelly.
However, after eating a lot of interesting dishes, people have eaten the food that is “satisfied”. Sushi, miso soup, sashimi, dumplings, vegetable platter, tempura, beef udon noodles, chicken and fried rice. Oh, there are too many foods. Young people have been eating.
There is a small amount of Saki, it is warm (should be) and tastes good. I am still trying to try something.
This restaurant is perfect for kids. Accessible Channel. There is a good parking space in front, but if you want to find something, you can stop at the west side of the back of the store - there is a large parking space.
The staff is great. Excellent value for money.
Now, I apologize for the photos without food, but in fact, I don't always feel comfortable shooting photos that everyone is eating. There are times and places, but not always appropriate.
Love the all you can eat option for 34,80 per person. Food is very tasty and the service is excellent. I would like to see more seafood options on the all you can eat menu though
Family dinner at Okami in Fairfield proved to be a winner for the hungry young men. Part of our table of 10 chose from the a la carte menu. Others chose the 'all you can eat'.
I chose the favourite of teriyaki chicken which was a very generous portion size, served with a small side salad. Taste was very good. Others had the potato croquettes and the eggplant salad as entree. Tofu was a little ho hum and much like jelly in texture.
However, the people that ate the 'all you can eat' were being served plateful after plateful of a variety of interesting dishes. Sushi, , miso soup, sashimi, gyoza, vegetable kakiage, tempura, beef udon, chicken katsu and fried rice. Oh so much food. And the young men just kept eating.
Had a small amount of saki which was served warm (as it should be) and a pretty good taste. Something I'm still struggling to get the taste for.
The restaurant is very kid friendly. Wheelchair accessible. Good parking out the front but if you're struggling to find something, park on the west side behind the strip of shops - large parking area there.
Now I apologise for no food photos but really, I don't always feel comfortable snapping pics of what everyone is eating. There is a time and a place and it's not always appropriate.
$35 for à la carte all you can eat Japanese. Too good to be true. Food is delicious, service is good
Very helpful & friendly staff. Recommend for people who craving for budget Japanese buffet. Not elegant japanese food but is worth for the price.
Wow - what a place. The food is delicious. Such a great deal for what you get & the service is brilliant. I love the fact that they deter over ordering & food wastage by having to pay extra if not all is eaten. Great idea.
Very disappointing! The tempura was terrible; all batter, oily & very heavy. The gyoza vegetarian was tasteless. The steak was nice. We won’t be back!
Awesome and not expensive All You Can Eat place in Fairfield! Tasty food and nice staff. I will repeat soon, for sure.
Fantastic place, the all you can eat really is all you can eat. Great to try so many different dishes as they are on the smaller side, not full on meals which I thought was great. Anything teriyaki, can't go past it here. Reasonable price considering what you get too, would definitely recommend to friends and family, as I was recommended by friends.
Always treated well there by staff and it has a nice ambience. Plentiful, fresh food, served quick. My go to Okami restaurant.
