Okami (Fairfield) - Japanese All You Can Eat reviews
79Amazing place to come in and dine with family and friends and the waiters and waitresses are very respectful and friendly
Love the all you can eat. Catered appropriately for all of my family members with such a wide range of food. Love the BYO and definitely would recommend this restaurant. Must come back xoxo
Ps it’s a must have to get the potato croquettes
All you can eat but staff is reluctant to take order to cut costs. The dessert biscuits were served frozen and had to repeatedly ask for them to be warmed.
Good value for the buffet for under $40 2hr eating. They get busy so you gotta order enough early in your sitting.
First time there. Great variety of food and very nicely cooked. Excellent value for money. Would be 5 stars, but it was very noisy and hard to hear my dining companions.
Honestly I didn’t mind the food too much I liked the katsu CHICKEN, we ordered two katsu chickens and I told the waitress over 4 times that I cannot eat pork because of my religion. We get the food and we’re assured there’s no pork. We finish the food and go to pay, we look at the bill and it was one chicken and one katsu pork. It’s Ramadan also and it’s my first time eating there. I was so unhappy and disgusted I won’t be returning. The lady at the cashier was nice she didn’t charge us for the pork dish but that’s not the point. The prawn dumplings were very nice but I won’t be returning.
I love Japanese cuisine so a good quality all you can eat restaurant is always at the top of the list for us. The staff are very polite and catering.
Bonus star because it was, as advertised, all you can eat.
The quality of both presentation and taste, however, were shocking. Everything tasted old and oily. The drinks were undeniably from Golden Circle boxes. Not great, but a fun time nonetheless
Went for the all you can eat with a group of 10. The food was good and staff friendly. The sashimi was really fresh and well presented. The gyoza were avarage.
We were a little cramped around the table and the hard walls made it difficult to hear conversation.
Food was ok. Incorrect food was delivered regularly and many items missed. Service a bit slow too. Not easy to order specific items and not all hand rolls available on the night. Better options available. Asked for no tuna and had it delivered twice. Best part of the night was the huge portions of seaweed salad.
Exceptional all-you-can-eat option in Fairfield. Have been twice, and was equally impressed by both the service and food on both occasions. It isn't a buffet; more of a 'keep on ordering things until you can't fit anything else in', and the quality of all dishes we tried is fantastic. Best to book in advance (easy to do via their website) as they get very busy, especially on Friday/Saturday nights. Cost is very reasonable (~$39 per person for all the sushi, miso, teriyaki, gyoza, tempura and dessert your heart could possibly desire). 10/10 would recommend.
I've been to a few okami restaurants now, and the Fairfield store has to be one of the best ones. Very good value for money, always such delicious food and friendly service.
I've been to a few Okami restaurants. This one had the friendliest staff yet and the food is flawless, it always is at Okami.
Good for the price, left feeling full but not stuffed which is probably for the best as I rode my bike home and it'd be gross if I threw up in my mouth duribg. 5 stars!
Amazing service, staff are very attentive and friendly. This is my go to japanese restaurant as its all you can eat quality food for a fantastic price, the carpaccio is my fave as well as the potato croquettes and the fresh sushi. Can't wait to go back
Fantastic restaurant for a family dinner, the food was excellent, lovely fresh sashimi and the mains came out piping hot minutes after ordering, at $35 a head the price is right too. We will definitely be coming back
Food was good when we got what we ordered but the service was not good and they brought the food out very slowly so we couldn't order more in time before they we're reminding us we had to leave soon. Compared to other Okami restaurants, this one was terrible.
Excellent food and service, food is freshly cooked ane serve fast after order. Will recommend to all my friends and family. Great place
You can't complain for the service you get to pay $3x a head with all you can eat. Food comes without any delay after ordering, and all fresh made. I like the sizzling beef dishes. All the staff are attentive and friendly. Definitely can be a place to visit frequently with friends or family.
Good food and great place to try different varieties. $35 for all you can eat. Food comes in small portions but since it is all you can eat worthy! Plum wine was good.
