Okami (Fairfield) - Japanese All You Can Eat reviews
79Food was amazing and so were the staff and food took like 10 minutes to all Come out after ordering amazing!
I been to 3 okamis and this is by far the best in my opinion, they brought the food almost instantly. The staff were super attentive and helpful, and the food tasted amazing thank you for making it a great experience?
Our favourite Japanese restaurant.
Food was AMAZING. Sooo well priced and so much yummy food in the buffet. Staff were absolutely amazing and so accommodating with allergies. Everything was just perfect.
First time to an Okami and we decided to try the normal menu, not great value to be completely honest. The sashimi in the sushi and sashimi combo was dry and the cuts of salmon and tuna were very thin. The broth for the seafood tempura udon tasted like lacked flavour and just tasted like bean sprouts and boiled veges. We ordered a miso soup and it never arrived. The only thing that was okay was the tempura prawn roll and the agedashi tofu.
Food was amazing, fast service and friendly staff i’ve been to 2 other okami’s.this one by far is at the top highly recommend over any other ones in this state.
Food was amazing, lovely service by all waitresses! Highly would recommend coming back. Sadi was great help with recommendations
Light meals that can fully satisfy the stomach. Not the ideal place for first timers who haven't had Japanese cusine before however worth the price for accommodating a large group of people. Every restaurant has that 1 staff member that can spoil a customer's experience, though we were swift to react and requested another waiter to cater for us (who did a tremendous job & she's not even Japanese). 5 flies where discovered in our entree meals and an apology is what we only got. Positive vibes: SEAWEED was my TOP notch meal.
Absolutely fantastic. The service is wonderful, very friendly and the staff warmly welcomed us. The food is delicious, fresh, plentiful & very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be going back. Thanks for a great night out.
When you go to a all you can eat restaurant sometimes a little hard to control your urges.
When the food is as tastie as it was, it is really worth it, if you haven't eaten at one of the many Okamis around Melbourne do your self a favour book in and enjoy the evening.
Okami Fairfield is a good Japanese restaurant for a quick meal, as with all restaurants you eat food you would not prepare at home. We chose the "All you can eat", menu. We were a walk-in so we were glad to be seated.
The food was good quality and freshly prepared to order, most were enjoyed and a couple not so much but still good. The wait staff are run off their feet, but as attentive as they can be on a busy night. A couple of dishes were missed as a result but reordered promptly when we reminded them.
The drinks menu is good and compact
Prices are very good

Okami Fairfield is run at a frantic pace and gets quite noisy. There is lots to be positives about Okami Fairfield so give it a try you won't regret it. Corrado
Get the All-You-Can-Eat menu! It's such good value. For less than $40 per person you can get beautifully presented, fresh and delicious sushi, sashimi and other Japanese food. Everything we had was wonderful. We got the plum wine too, but (through bitter experience) discovered that you're not meant to eat the salty AF dried plum the bottom of the glass. I recommend the takoyaki, the salmon sushi plate and the karage chicken. Also, if you leave more than 200 grams of food they will charge you for the leftovers! Warning to all those with eyes bigger than their bellies.
Placed an order with menu log didn't receive it for over an hour to then be told it was delivered a hour past its delivery time. To look for it on the steps to find it was never delivered.
Good and plentiful food. Didn't get everything we ordered, but it was a large group (>20 people) so understand that there may have been mix ups.
The all you can eat menu was great! Lots to choose from and a true all you can eat experience. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would love to try the standard a la carte menu next time!
Food is good. Service efficient. Would be 5 stars if they were a bit more generous with the sashimi
While our large family really enjoys Okami, they NEVER return our calls for bookings. It's so annoying when you have a larger booking, need a highchair or it's a special occasion, makes it really difficult.
We love coming here; the wait staff are very friendly and efficient, in particular Emma always remembers us and greets us in a very energetic way. The food is fresh and presented nicely. Thanks!
Food and services is amazing! Fresh food and fast to cone out. Great place and we love going there.
Loved the food. Definitely recommend the chicken teriyaki! I also liked the waiters and the people at the counter who were down to earth. My go to Japanese restaurant, and you get to try many delicious things for such a cheap price.
I'll admit I was a bit suss on the idea of "all you can eat" anything, but Okami is unique. They actually let you order from a menu. They offer table service. Their food is amazing. Give them a shot, you won't be disappointed!
