Okami - Brunswick

Was there monday night for a work dinner. All you can eat is the best value for 2 people or more. We ordered a wide range of food from the miso steak to sushi, spring rolls, rice, 3 different kinds of chicken, eggplant and dumplings etc. Everything was very clean and perfectly cooked food. Would definitely recommend this place. It does get really busy as it is popular so book ahead. The service was exceptional too.

If you love sushi and japanese al le carte, theres no better place. Price and service is very reasonable, and Brunswick location is the best one.

My friend and I ate 28 dishes between the two of us, equating to under $3/plate.
As with all AYCE, it's great value if you are hungry. It can be difficult to get the attention of staff if you're playing the game, but be persistent and you'll get what you want.

Yummy, I love this all you can eat japanese restaurant. You get you order anything from the menu free (inclods in the bace price). How it works is when you order the food they slowly start you bring it onto your table and you all share from that boul. At the end you get a free scoop of Japanese ice-cream and you are always full when you walk out.

Entree good size and Main as well. I was more impressed with Entree. Prices was very reasonable for All you can eat. Only thing is if you order something and not finish and leave 100gram of Food. You get charge for leaving food.so don't order too much unless you sure you can eat the dish. Share dishes helps. I liked the place and recommend the place.

The staff get suspiciously difficult to summon when they feel like you've had enough sushi, but if you act like you're about to order drinks you can get their attention pretty quick.

Highly recommend! Food was great and value for money is great. Service wasn't the best and they don't do split bills but would definitely go again.

Noisy, busy, need a reservation. Rating not due to the waitstaff- they were doing their best with not enough people. I had to borrow soy sauce for sushi from another table. Good if you like a certain kind of Japanese food! The knife and fork on the table should have been a giveaway. Try again at a quieter time. On the plus side the sake is generous.

Food, service and experience was great. Initially after reading mainly the negative reviews I was concerned about the waiting times to put in your order (we were a group of 11) and also the waiting times to receive your food but we had no such experience as everything was great. The staff even accommodated the fussy needs of a 5 year old and a 7 year old. Highly recommended.

Love this all you can eat Japanese, not the best Japanese you will ever have but it is up there in quality, the fact it is unlimited means you can try many dishes, the only disappointment is they slow you down towards the end and slow down how often your orders come in.

I would give them 5star rating but apparently the staff is not too alert with some of the customers. Maybe because our table was a bit on the edge where they can't see us but I can't see that as an excuse, sorry BUT the food was SUPER AMAZING! I Would definitely recommend this place to all sushi lover And yes we will come again!

Great place with excellent food. A lot of vegetarian options along with meat which is always good for groups of people. Pricing is fair for what you get and it’s not a traditional buffet style all you can eat which generally aren’t that good. The shop is a bit rough compared to Footscray but it’s easy to look past.

Great value and great quality of food! Service was quick and very reasonable considering they were taking orders and serving food constantly. Would recommend and would return! P.s. The black sesame ice cream was to die for!

Totally enjoyed the good quality food over the "All you can eat" buffet. There were more hits than miss! Highly highly recommend the squid salad, egg plant salad, agedashi tofu, chicken karage and katsu, beef dishes and black sesame ice cream.

Only problem was the noise level in the shop. It's a small place packed with lots of people so it can get really loud. And since it can be crowded, remember to make a reservation to avoid disappointment!

Great experience. Great staff, nice food, great value. All you can eat for around $33 a head. I will take my own wine next time - $5 per bottle corkage is pretty reasonable. The place is licensed and i ordered a bottle of Pewsey Vale Riesling which didn't have its usual tang so i don't know how long it has been opened. I'll BYO next time to be sure.

Had a fantastic time - love the all you can eat atmosphere! Our favourites were the katsu and the vegetable gyoza!

Great quality Japanese food. Super fast service and the staff are super friendly. And the atmosphere is very nice.

So reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food you receive we come here regularly and have never been disappointed

All you can eat? In this place, this means lots of great food. I think we've tried everything on the menu over several visits and there's nothing we disliked. Reasonably priced drinks, quick service. Menu is full of photos, so even if you are not familiar with the food, you know what you're gonna get.
