Okami - Brunswick

The food was simply great authentic and the service outstanding.
I will definitely check it out again and try the rest of the menu

Great food, quick service but suggest you get there on time try everything on the menu be quick to get through it, if you book 5.45 your rushed out right on 6.30 so best to book for the last sitting

Great selection and quality is good. The sushi dish is probably the best thing and the desserts. Fried chicken was a little fatty but everything else good. The octopus balls are good and the tempura selection is fresh and crispy. Will be back

Got takeaway here last night and they were SUPER busy so my other was delayed a little bit. The lady with the white hair was very apologetic and threw in a few drinks on the house with the food which was really tasty and good value for money. Thank you Okami.

Great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Great atmosphere amazing food. All you can eat for $35 per person. Order at the table, they bring it to you. Quick, efficient, great costomer service. Flavours, are awesome. Real value for money. You certainly leave this place feeling full, content and happy. If you haven't tried it. Give it a go.

$34.80 per person for an all you can eat Japanese food and for me, is worth it.
In saying that, the servings are quite small so you find yourself obviously ordering more and more, however i have been many times and the main foods i have tried are all tasty and the green tea ice cream for dessert is sensational. One of my go to restaurants when eating out!

Poorly executed Japanese dishes that prioritise quantity over quality.

The sushi in particular was strange - rice was not well seasoned and texture was off. I think this place could benefit from a simplified menu.

We always love visiting Okami for some delicious Japanese food! This time we tried out their Brunswick location. We found that Brunswick was quite small and cramped compared to other store locations and drinks took a long time to arrive, well after we received our food order. Foods that we ordered also came out over half an hour after receiving other foods which was an inconvenience.

Delicious food with many choices. Friendly and very polite service despite staff being extremely busy during Mother's day weekend. Excellent value for money. Will definitely come back

Delicious food, all you can eat for a set price. Good selection of various Japanese starters and mains. Busy and a bit noisy, but wait staff attentive and friendly.

Food took too long to come out and something dodgy going on with the payment method. Many of patrons cards got declined and we had to make direct payments into their account.

Not being wheel chair accessible is pretty bad in this day and age. No access, no folding ramp, no back door access. Our friend had to drive home to collect their own door ramps while their daughter and partner waited out the front.

The food was great especially the dietary specification on the menu for vegan gluten etc. The all you can eat menu is wonderful. Will be back.

We had the all you can eat dinner - really impressive. The quality of the food and selection of menu items were great! They also offer BYO wine. Make sure to book as always busy.

All you can eat was great fun but it's very much a quantity over quality. We've had nicer Japanese elsewhere in Melbourne bit that's not to say this wasn't enjoyable. We had fun and the service was nice and fast.

We found the entree variety and sushi to be more tasty then any of the mains. The steaks were very chewy and lacked that beef flavour. The chicken skewers were very average at best, however for what you pay it's not too bad at all.

Good range of Japanese style food at reasonable price. Service is quick even on Friday night. Food is hot when it's supposed to be hot. Some dishes are tasty, some are just so so. The squid is not that fresh!

Excellent. I've been going to Okami Brunswick for a while and tried a number of other Okami restaurants & Okami Brunswick holds the honours of being the best out the lot. Now, nothing beats Great company & Great food "TOGETHER". So before you go and book another restaurant, give Okami Brunswick a look. You won't be disapointed. I nearly forgot to mention that it's All You Can Eat for an affordable price.

Entrees were nice and came out quickly but the main course lacked flavour and the rice that was to come with it arrived 10 minutes after the food had gone cold.
