Okami - Brunswick

The service was really good! The food was yummy and the staff were all super nice and for 36 or something dollars it's worth your money, will definitely be coming in the future

Okami is not a buffet style all you can eat, the format involves selecting things from the menu and having them brought out freshly prepared alongside with others who ordered the same, it can lead to some dishes coming out in an order that wasn't intended (our fried rice was the final dish to come out), that's half the fun though, good place to have cheap sake and good quality food in large quantities.

The food is great，and staff were very friendly
and helpful. I'll back and I highly recommend.

I love sushi and this place was welcoming I remember coming here 2 years ago i forgot to review it haha but the sushi was tasty and the staff were quick and friendly!

Really great first time at an Okami restaurant.

Great food, fast service and amazing flavours!
- Cooked prawns and steak dishes were average, but I would focus on the Japanese staples, like sushi, chicken dishes and definitely their Green Tea Taiyaki!
- Don't forget to ask for their chilli sauce on the side - it's not on the menu, but it's amazing!

Forgot a couple of small things on our order, as well as water (even after asking) and it's a bit hard to get anyone's attention (others struggled a bit too).

Nice dining experience at Okami this past weekend. Many varied options and at a reasonable all you can eat price of $36.80.

We weren't rushed when we came for an early dinner at 5pm on Saturday. Albeit the crowd was predominately large groups and families at this time which held up our incremental orders (waiting perhaps 20-30mins between orders). I would probably recommend coming at the non-nanna dinner timeslot in that case! Or recommend ordering a larger volume of dishes upfront to minimise waiting between orders.

All the food was good and well prepared. Particularly liked the karaage chicken, katsu chicken, and all the beef dishes.

Decor could use with a bit of an update, so don't expect anything too fancy. Nice for a casual meal.

Will come back again!

Super slow in getting the food out, zero hygiene. Found a pube on the sushi platter will never go there again specifically Brunswick!

The best all you can eat Japanese restaurant. You will have 2 hours dining time to try everything for 36.80. Some dishes came right away but some took even 20minutes Taiyaki and sesame ice cream are must try.

Food was great. But one staff tried to rushed us out and didn't bother to process our last order. I think that's extremely rude because we were waiting at the table for 15 minutes for our last order. They end up bringing the last order out to our table after we complained about it. Honestly, that ruined the entire dining experience. The Okami at Fairfield is much better. I would have given them a 1 star if they didn't bother to bring us the last order.

Ordered some food on Uber for dinner, waited about 40 minutes and order was cancelled, I checked and they were open till late. Was very disappointed and left hungry: (

This is a place where you can definitely get your money's worth. Although the food is not spectacular, it is pretty much on par with food court Japanese food. Great place to dine with friends as it has a very laid back and casual atmosphere.

Excellent quality of service and food in-spite of full seated restaurant, coping well with pressures, really one of the best OKAMI around, better than other OKAMI branches.well done

My favourite all you can eat place in Brunswick. Make sure to get the sashimi and the beef yakiniku. Don’t bother with the noodles.

Always drove past and saw how packed this place was. Now i know why, nice food, very reasonably priced and good service to boot.

Always fresh food. Good vegetarian & vegan options. Fantastic customer service & great value for money. Unfortunately the parking situation isn't great.
As the street is so busy so my suggestion. Find a parking further down & walk up.
Worth the walk.

I have wanted to come here for a long time and we got in unexpectedly, however it was really packed no distancing and a long queue a couple of times whilst we were there. We did not come for the all you can eat and perhaps that’s what we were charged? The service was good very busy, the food (vegetarian) was good, small serves, twice the cost as anywhere we’ve been. We will be back but will ensure we are charged accordingly.

Food is always great. But avoid the only waiter who doesn't use the iPad for orders, but scribbles them on a pad, instead. Clearly the paper scraps don't make it to the kitchen. Had to order the same dishes twice and still remind him when no food appeared. Takes the edge off the experience.

Good value restaurant! Food is good and has a relaxed vibe. Well situated right next to public transport

Love this place, had a meal here whilst having a farewell party with a friend of ours. Miso Soup is perfect, not too salty, Loved the Fried Rice specifically the flavor is unique and not to mention the Taiyaki is delicious too. Highly Recommended
