I am absolutely disgusted with Officeworks! I walked in and asked 3 people for help with a few items on a book list and was told to get a pamphlet and do it myself. My daughter got upset, I got upset… thank you very much for assisting us NOT buy your products. Whoever made that policy should pat themselves on the back!

Today 18.1.23 I called into the store and as a first timer using my mobile to download on the photo screens I needed help. A young lady by the name of Elle was very pleasant and helpful. Best service I have received in Officework since arriving in Melbourne early 2023. Thank you Elle

Poor staff service, talked with 3staffs, young slim aussie boy / slim asian guy with glasses and long hair and woman with tattoo and nose pieces and all of them said just a second and gone!

If there is any review worth reading about this store, this is the one.

Truly the worst Customer Service I’ve ever seen.

Don’t bother calling them cause they won’t answer. (If you look at how often people call this place and get either hung up on or left waiting until it dials out, it’s pathetic. It happened to us also)

Don’t bother asking them to hold an item cause they’ll lie and say they can’t do it (Even though another employee said they DO. Also any other Officeworks are more than happy to hold an item for you.

Don’t bother driving there with the intent of finding a particular product, they’ve TOLD YOU was in stock when it’s actually NOT. (Their words not mine, “We just sold it to a lady, a couple mins ago”.)

Do yourself a favour and drive to the Altona North or Airport West Store cause this one is truly truly terrible.

Ali and Jason, you both need to be retrained from the start on how to provide better customer service, cause it was the worst.

Not great service, staff are ill-informed about the services Officeworks offers and have an attitude of ‘that’s not my problem’ when asked for help, especially in the printing area. I have had several interactions with different staff members in this store over the last week (as I had to chase up an elusive click and collect order many times) which have all been less than informed and enthusiastic and once when I called was told they’d go and check and left me on hold for almost half an hour. I had to hang up and call back. This team needs a serious overhaul in their customer service.

Regular shopper here and it’s the first time I’ve received a positive customer service experience, so big shout out to Isaac from printing who was super efficient and friendly.

Avoid this officeworks! There is never enough staff and the self service printing machines always have issues that you end up needing assistance anyway! Office works needs to train more staff for the printing area. Everytime I’ve come it’s always busy with people for this service. Do better office works. Your customer service is terrible.

Long wait for print to be told can't do. Instead of having customers wait 30 minutes to be told no, how about have someone checking people who are waiting to see if there requests can be actioned.

Multiple times they have failed to notify me when photos are ready to collect and when you go to enquire there are large lines and very poor customer service.

This is the worst store I ever visited I bought Headphone there's no adversed model I fail to do research busy life make me do that I took home Headphone in the cartoon when I open up at home that thing is omg it's very big my head can't even hold up I try to reruns or exchange bcoz I needed for work and it's not suitable for my daily life but they refuse to return or exchange for me they says since you open and break the seal we cannot resale there we don't return or exchange go check our policy wow repoff

Have had good experiences at this Officeworks in the past, but really disappointed with the customer service today. Came in around 2: 30pm needing some help buying a hard drive. Asked for help at the front desk and was referred to the "tech expert" and the cashiers went so far as to point me out to this tech expert, who proceeded to ignore me and continue stacking the shelves. After waiting around for around 10 minutes eventually had to walk out.

Work on your customer service due to printing machines not working I had to line up for printing. There is a real "I don't care attitude" for serving customers including the manager that was called to rectify the problem.

So today I ended up being the last person to exit the store reason being the printing card machine was not working, the internet was slow so the print Job took me 35 mins to complete. As if that wasn't bad enough on my way out one of the staff members had the audacity to ask for a bag search before opening the door and citting store policy to me and I asked him what am I going to steal from the printers & he said he wasn't accusing me of theft well it was implied. Ridiculous stereotyping.

Terrible experience with Officeworks today and in particular their Highpoint store. Someone stole my iPhone last night so I purchased the new iPhone 14 via their website, mainly because their website said Highpoint had it in stock and it would be ready for collection within 2 hours, so I went ahead with the purchase. I then received an email saying that the phone was no longer available and I would have to wait until Wednesday, as they’ll need to order one in. I spent 20 minutes waiting on hold with their customer service line, only to be told that there wasn’t anything they could do to help. They couldn’t even offer me a different coloured one that WAS in stock, my only choice was to go into the store and buy another $1,600 phone. So I then call the store requesting to speak to the manager for an alternate solution, but was refused and told that there was nothing that could be done and the male employee insinuated it was my issue and not theirs. Total lack of empathy, customer service and willingness to admit fault or help fix the issue. I will go to Apple tomorrow to buy my phone, and I will never buy another single thing from Officeworks again, you should be ashamed of yourselves!

Very unprofessional staffs.
I was welcomed with the greeting by a lady staff that" just to let you know, we are closing very soon. The lady at the printing station is very busy, I am not too sure if you will be able to print". It was around 5: 51pm we went to the store to print a very important document (it was only one page) after realizing the submission was tomorrow before 8am. We send the email by 5: 55pm but for some reason it was not showing on the desktop. I am not too sure whether it was intentional to not display the documents on their work station, where they do the printing.
I do understand you are a very busy service and you guys must be tired with the job that you all do all day to help many service users. I really appreciate that.

Even though, the store was closing, they could have said that very nicely and we could have thought of other options, but just the attitude of the staffs towards last minute customers is not nice at all.
You yourself advertise your Closing time at 6pm.

Please encourage your staff to be more friendly. At least smile when you service, we are a paying customers. Nobody knowingly turn up at your door in last minute until and unless it's an emergency.
Please be little more human.

I am never ever visiting your store.
Please take this review as a constructive criticism for your store

My partner and I went in a few days ago to buy our son a gaming desk and chair and I just wanted to say a big thank you to Heath who helped us with our needs. He was so helpful and eager to help, even assisting us to our car! It was an absolute breath of fresh air to have that kind of customer service! Thank you so much to the team at Maribyrnong and especially to Heath my son absolutely loves his new gaming set up. Love the bubbly and helpful nature we experienced.
