Nice store: bright & open. Plenty big: Rows & rows of goods. Got all the departments ie print & copy etc.
Stephanie was very helpful on the phone and was more than happy to put a product low on stock on hold for me to come in and pick up.
Received incorrect info regarding store policy on a item swap. Ended up out of pocket $130 with an item I didn't want. Follow up staff member was quite rude and unapologetic stipulating it was my fault. Pretty disappointed considering I shop at Officeworks often.
These 5 stars do not belong to the store or the layout or products. They simply belong to Paula. I had a terrible timing trying to print photos from my phone. One staff member pointed me in the direction of the machines (go work it out), another helped me somewhat then went off to serve other customers. Only Paula had the patience and time to show me step by step what to do. I was pressed for time but she was the only one who patiently walked me through it, sped up the printing and helped me with my other purchases. 5 stars to Paula - thank you! You're the only reason I'll be back for photo printing.
Worst experience with any store I have ever had. How Paula has a job is beyond me, she is one of the rudest people Ive ever had the misfortune to encounter, she seams to take pleasure in making people wait or come back for an order. Do yourselves a favour and replace her with someone that has at least some people skills or your going to keep losing customers, you have lost me, I wont be back, Id rather drive to another store than spend a single cent there
I bought some printer ink for home delivery. To order online you have to tick a box agreeing to 'terms and conditions' - the fine print says you agree that you may or may not receive the delivery. Basically, they waive all responsibility for ensuring it's delivered safely. Of course I received an email saying it was "delivered" but it never came. Apparently not eligible for a refund as I'd agreed to their 'terms'. Money down the drain. I really question as to whether that's even legal. Certainly not ethical. Their delivery driver probably just pocketed it.
Phone calls never answered.literally defeats the purpose of 'click and collect' due to Covid when you have to go in-person to inquire about an online order.
I've never had any problems shopping in this store before, and I've been going there since it opened. However, the returns and refund system has let me down. I bought a monitor cable in June on click and collect. When i picked it up, it was the wrong cable. I bought a replacement via EFT in store. Because the C&C was paid by Paypal, getting a refund will take longer I was told, about 2-3 weeks. I followed staff instructions, returned the stock - no receipt given or nothing to sign, just a returns code quoted verbally to the staff. No refund in my account and no contact from the store after posting online queries at the website. This is poor service.
It was time to finally give up on my HP laptop that has given me nothing but grief for years so visited Officeworks Coburg to see their range in person (as I had researched online). Received amazing advice from 2 guys on what I had envisioned to consider a different brand and go for a gaming styled laptop, the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 and received an amazing deal. I'm so happy and thankful for genuine and informed customer service!
The most rude, obnoxious and dismissive staff. Specially Aidan and the manager as well. Officeworks needs to work a lot on their customer service.
No one in the que out the front of the store and was not abel to get flight and quarantine printed for my wife's cousin who flys home to the Philippines on Monday. No happy with the very bad service today!

Went to return an item today on 13/6/21 that was over over 30 days due to the lockdown which they refused because they couldn’t work out how to add two weeks lockdown to the date of purchase, I had to go back in to explain to the manger that I was in lockdown which added two weeks and that’s the reason I couldn’t get there and had to wait to the Sunday due to working, the manger wasn’t compassionate at all and was passive aggressive and rude towards me.
I wonder now why they have so many 1 star reviews make sense now.
Needed assistance with wifi extenders and Josh was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Very pleased with his friendly service
Staff members treated me very badly, i bought a bookshelf, but part of it turned out to be crooked, they didn't want to help me when i went to change it
I bought two items from this store. Paid extra for delivery and assembly. Got an email saying they will only deliver the first item. Called customer centre to find out 2nd item is out of stock. Customer care assured store manager will call sort it out with me. No calls. So I go in the store, they had no idea what was going on. I said I just need the 2nd item in whatever colour you have. They promised to deliver the 2nd item next day. The first item has not yet reached my place even though the delivery date is today between 8 am to 5 pm. Absolutely poor customer service.
Extremely friendly staff & a special shout out to Michael in the printing section. I needed some posters for my business & he was incredibly helpful about the size of them & what would be best in terms of ensuring the images remained sharp. He was so knowledgeable & friendly - really fantastic customer service- thank you. PLUS it’s open til 11pm!
Incompetent disrespectful staff who lack basic knowledge on product and services let alone understanding of customer service, backed by even more incompetent management. Save yourself time and shop elsewhere. Dissapointing experience after dissapointing experience won't be back for any more that's for sure.
Horrible service, 8" samsung tablet on sale, advised two employees it's not on display, before I buy I just want to make sure I'm happy with the size - neither off the two wanted to help, I asked them to get one from the back just so I can see and they refused (even though they have it in stock), so I went to Harvey Norman, 100 metres away and they showed me the item, I brought it from them on the spot.poor work ethic!
