Officeworks Airport West

Rang to price match, sat on the phone for an hour, the staff did their best to find a reason not to match. Ended up simply refusing to match without a clear reason. I was actually surprised with the amount of effort they went too, the checking with managers etc to simply match a price with Telstra? Far too hard.

JB Hifi on the other hand, 5 stars. Took 1 minute to price match using chat, sent link to invoice with matched price, buy, pickup, done. Night and day.

I came in to use the self-service printing for a large amount of paper cut-out D&D miniatures, which I had sourced online. Thing is, the PDFs were smart documents which, when opened in Adobe Reader, would allow you to click on the images on each miniature and change them from full-colour to outline-only black-and-white variants. Natually, I wanted to print in black-and-white, for the sake of my budget.

Of course, the printers don't allow you to interact with smart PDFs, seeing as they are so rarely used. So, I asked Ann for assistance, to see if I could use a computer to manually select and print the black-and-white versions.

While no computers could be used for that purpose, she took the time to manually select and print *every single set of miniatures* for me. That's 127 documents, each with up to a dozen monsters and creatures on them - all the while making an effort to have an engaging conversation with me about what these were for, as well as discussing our mutual enjoyment of politics, history and fantasy.

It's extremely rare to see that level of engagement and genuine enjoyment in a customer service position, let alone for a *printing service*. She absolutely made my evening.

I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to the two girls in the print department last night (15th of June 2022). Despite technically difficulties they went above and beyond to get my job done! Thank you:)

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to SAM (female) at the Airport West Office Works.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to repurchase most of my grandsons school supplies after the School Term had begun.
As expected a lot of the items he required weren't on the shelves due to the supplies being wiped out by parents prior to school starting back.
When I rang the Airport West store to enquire if they had the books I wasn't able to get at our local store, Sam went out of her way to check and rang me back within 10 minutes of my call.
She had not only located all the books I needed in the storeroom, but had also provided lovely covers for the books.
In a week when everything seemed to go wrong Sam managed to turn my frown upside down, and her kindness truly meant so much to me.
I hope this Review is seen by her Supervisor & Area Manager as she really deserves recognition for, not only her helpful and caring manner, but also for the fact that she clearly enjoys helping people. And she is a truly dedicated member of the Office Works Team.
Thank you Sam, your kindness went above & beyond and I'm so grateful to you for the effort you put in so my grandson didn't have to be the only one in his class who didn't have his books.
Airport West may not be my local store, but it'll definitely be the store that I go to from now on.

It isn’t a super big store but big enough to accomodate most of the Officeworks products.

I feel it is a bit understaffed as whenever I have been there, I have seen people queuing up at the POS at least for 5-10 minutes. There is limited (to almost no) staff in the aisle too, so if you need some assistance, most of the time you may have to walk up to the POS to find a staff.

The staff I have dealt with have been very helpful and friendly.

Printing kiosks are good but note that once you top up the print card, you can’t get a refund, so remember this when you top-up.

Used self service printing.however the printers can't open all types of pdf docs for some reason and you can't use the non refundable money on the self service card they make you use so you have to pay again.and keep money on a card you might loose or never use again.

Great customer service. The staff went out of their way to help me load up my bulky click and collect order that I had clearly not thought through logistically! Very helpful and I was very pleased with my experience. Thank you

Absolutely amazing click and collect service I've done two click and collect orders from them in the last month and both of them were absolutely amazing both orders were ready in 45 minutes

The lead time to receive goods ordered online is ridiculous. Considering product is picked and packed in Mentone, the fact that it takes over two weeks for delivery to Airport West store for a click and collect order is a joke. I’m hesitant to give them even just a one star rating. Furthermore, waiting on hold to customer service for over 30mins only to hang up out of frustration because no one was able to give me a detailed status update. Will never order from this store or company again.

Very unhelpful and rude staff. Tried to call and get a photo printed for my grandma’s funeral and the person on the phone was not compassionate and unwilling to help.

Really bad customer service, they have no idea where my late delivery is or even track it with the number they sent me.there response, don’t know maybe it will come tomorrow

I don't like giving negative reviews but I didn't even want to give them 1 star, it was a hassle ordering and waiting multiple days for click and collect you guys probably had in stock. I've had an issue with my purchase and when trying to contact airport West Officeworks the phone has rang out each time leaving me very frustrated. The lack of customer service from Officeworks is deplorable. Zero customer satisfaction. Zero quality.

If you ever need any help with Tech stuff, Matt is the person to see! Knows absolutely everything you could possibly know about printers and laptops and was super friendly as well! Best service ive ever gotten!

I have printing done every week at this office works. My 2nd trip their the young lady that usually serves me called me by my first name. I thought that lovely. Taking the time to know her customers. Her name is Christine, she is always pleasant & very professional.
The only thing that I don't like is when you are waiting sometimes, there are staff behind the counter having a lovely chat together or reading their mobile phones when customers are waiting in a queue. Isn't & doesn't look good.

Exceptional customer service from Benn in this store. Need more staff like him in retail.

I came in and spent 10 minutes trying to find a staff member only to find out there was nobody, no idea why you wouldn’t want to provide a service to your customers, where they shop? Lauren came from behind the counter, was very willing to help and knew her stuff too, please pass on my gratitude to her, she deserves a big shout out!

I have never ever seen a store like this, I came in here to print a birth certificate and I had to wait in line for 30 mins. Absolutely disgraced should employ more staff. I would never recommend anybody wasting their time in this store

Came in today to organise my wedding invitations, Catherine was so helpful and patient and advised us on which edits to make to have the best printing results. Some of the best service I've experienced. Thanks heaps Catherine, keep up the great work!

Very disappointed! Have tried to ring on different days, different times - 30 times at least and each time the recording cuts out.press 1 - hang up press 2 - hang up.ring head office - no answer - send an email - no reply.
Yes, we all have to be patient at the moment during COVID but Officeworks is using that as an excuse for incompetence. Click and collect printing work has been a headache.no where online to leave a message with your order or comments. So every time I pick up my order it is incorrectly printed!

This has to be the worst Officeworks store in Melbourne, if you ring them for help forget it, they don't want to help, this is happens all the time. Try The Good Guys at least they talk to you and will recommend other outlets that can help. This store is run like a Communist government department.
