I had a horrible experience here. I left the doctors in tears after my appointment. The doctor didn't listen to what I had to say. Dismissed virtually everything she did listen to. Gave me information which was incorrect on 3 different subjects then asked me to leave. I have never felt so judged by someone let alone a doctor. She showed zero compassion and has left me very upset.

Called and was able to get an appointment on the day. Didn’t have to wait too long past my appointment time even though they seemed quite busy. Dr was also nice and helpful

Dr Effie is the best doctor I've ever had. She's incredibly thorough and meticulous with trying to get an accurate diagnosis.

Why don't they ever pick up the phone? I've tried everyday this whole week, several points of time a day, but never got through!

Disappointing. Made an appointment and took time off work to attend only to get turned away by the doctor, because they recently hiked up their fees. Had a serious condition that needed medical assistance too. Don’t care about patient only the money apparently.

Bahar is one of the most caring people I have ever met. She took our details and did researches and called us back next day with some options!

I have been consulting Dr Batool for last 8 years. She is the best GP I have seen so far. She has great knowledge and is also kind and understanding.

I have been attending Northland Medical Centre since 2016 when I moved to this area. The service I have received has been consistently outstanding. Dr Effie Frangoulis has been an amazing support. She has provided excellent care through my down times as I struggled not only with physical issues but also with emotional lows.
I have also seen another extremely caring doctor, Dr Omar Seedat, at times. Between Dr Effie and Dr Omar as well as other members of the team I have felt 100 per cent cared for and supported for the past 6 years. It gives me immense confidence knowing that they are there for me.
Thank you to all the team at Northland Medical Centre.

Highly don’t recommend to go this clinic, bad service, slow, done couple tests, back on Saturday for results, still haven’t got the result yet, called them on Monday morning still haven’t got results too, when called the Melbourne pathology, the result had sent to GP on Saturday, the gp didn’t even check his inbox, it’s DR Lamba

Unfortunately I had booked an appointment with “Dr” Judy Chen for a suspected nail infection. She was extremely dismissive and did not seem willing to examine my nail at all. Only glancing once from far, and saying that “it’s not a concern” and turning back to face her computer. When I asked politely a second time (Dr please if you don’t mind can I show you there is a hole …) she said “I’m not going to tell you a second time. It’s not a concern. Don’t make me repeat myself! I told you. ”
I was taken aback but just thanked her and left, as someone like her clearly has attitude/ temper issues.
She wasted my time and is very rude. Avoid her at all cost, I can see there are other reviewers with the same experience so I would not say it is just a bad day at the office for her.

Friendly staff, easy booking procedure both on-line and by phone, thorough doctors, great follow-up and caring environment with other services available such as pathology, podiatry and physio.

Went to see Dr Crilly, after recommendation of a family member.worst doctor ever. So rude and unconcerned about her patient. This doctor asked why i bothered going here if i lived in the west and was told don't bother coming back because i lived so far. Unbelievable! Not even worth 1 star. Highly advisable to AVOID THIS so called DOCTOR!

Please stay away from Dr. Chen.
She wrote me a careplan without discussing anything with me. This included specific goals that she made for me, not with me. When i returned for my next appointment i brought the careplan back as I had some questions about it. The first page of the careplan was for arthritis, which I do not have. I asked her why my careplan has arthritis information on it, which she then asked me if i have arthritis (she should know that I don't as this has never been discussed), and then went on to blame the nurse for the error. When i brought to her attention that i felt very dismissed that she wrote goals for me without my collaboration, (including surgery!), she told me they are standard goals and i don't get a say.

She was very dismissive and rude throughout the process. She became angry when i mentioned how invalidating this was and then physically pulled back the script, which was already signed and ready to go, back to her own side of the table. I asked her 'why can't i have my medication? ' to which told me to find another doctor as I ask questions which she doesn't like. She then stood over me and ripped up my script, leaving me with no medication for a medical issue that needs medication.

Further, she put me on medication a few weeks ago which made me feel nauseous and fatigued. I mentioned this to her nicely and told her that i haven't felt well on the medication, which she responded with, 'no one has ever felt like that.it is not because of this tablet'. Keep in mind this medication is a sedative, and i was told my the pharmacist it can cause extreme drowsiness. If it was really not because of this medication, she made no effort to see why I might be feeling like this or what else could have contributed. She just told me i was wrong and to stop asking questions.

I'm now left with no medication and told to find another doctor after such an awful appointment.

I was frantically looking for a GP as my bub was a bit sick. A lot of them had closed for the Easter break and / or wouldn't take new patients.

Thanks to Northland Medical Centre, I was able to get my bub checked out. Nina at the front office was courteous and assured that it was okay to come in ASAP. Dr Mohtaji was also patient with us and gave the right recommendations.

Thank you!

Dr Batool was extremely rude to my girlfriend today, who wanted to let me listen the consultation over the phone. Batool was asking my girlfriend questions not relevant to symptoms, like why not practice English more and stuffs. My girlfriend felt humiliated and Batool did not even try to explain calmly and kindly for patient who worried a lot as she was told to seek GP urgently. Please avoid Dr Batool at all cost if you need care and support as a patient.

We've been patients at this "Bulk Billing" Clinic ever since they opened at Northland many years ago. The clinic is open 7 days per week, and is well staffed with a large number of Doctors, Nurses, plus a range of other allied health service providers. The Clinic has a large well equipped treatment room plus Melbourne Pathology which runs 2 rooms Monday to Saturday. Chemist Warehouse are also in the same building if you need to get a Script filled. For those patients needing public transport, you're less than a minutes walk to the bus ranks outside. During the middle of the day, finding a car park can be a bit of a challenge, so you have to be patient. Being part of the Northland Shopping Complex, adds to its attraction! All the staff have had a "rough time" during this ongoing covid crisis. So treating them with kindness, patience, and respect would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Dr Effie Frangoulis is the best doctor I've ever had in my life, patient, kind and always follows up. I've also had a great experience with Dr Omar seedat. Can't recommend their services enough.

Dr Effie Frangoulos is the only one here worth seeing, very conscientious and professional.
Dr Omar Seedat should be avoided - I went in after a bad bike fall and was unable to straighten my arm, he told me to buy a cream for bruising and rub it into my elbow. Went back to Dr Effie later when still in pain and she ordered xrays, turned out I'd been rubbing cream into a broken elbow for 2 weeks. He also 'prescribed' my partner chicken soup when he was having covid symptoms, not even recommending a covid test despite my partner being immunocompromised.
Dr Judy Chen is fine for getting scripts refilled but I wouldn't go to her for anything more.
Dr Ali Mohtaji misdiagnosed my broken foot as a sprained ankle and told me to walk on it once the severe bruising went down. 2 months later I went to another GP who ordered urgent xrays and discovered my foot required urgent surgery for a major break.

I am not a patient at this clinic but use Melbourne Pathology based inside the premises. I was very disturbed to see the treatment of two reception staff to multiple patients on 4/3. One of which was a poor woman had bought her daughter up desperately to the front desk seeking assistance and she was refused any kind of treatment due to the risk of her child having COVID. She had a rash taking over the lower half of her face and it was clearly very emotional for the mother who was simply looking for help. The two girls working at the time were unprofessional, unhelpful and need to seriously re consider their line of work.
