77Great food! A little bit on the pricey side but after their great service and AMAZING steak I left very satisfied.
Not a bad place for a pub dinner and beer. I had the pot pie and it wasn't bad. The chocolate stout was a bit too rich for me =)
We were looking forward to the food given the high ratings but all three of us in the group were disappointed. We arrived hungry so wouldn't have been hard to please. We tried the highly recommended duck skin stuffed with pork mince as a starter to share and found that the flavors of the ingredients just didn't go well. I had a lamb shank hot pot and found it to be so so, while my husband's meat platter was also a hit & miss. The steak was good but not something we'd rave about. Total bill was $280 including 3 drinks which i found to be on the high side. I'd skip this place and head to the Greek Restaurant a couple of doors down.
I will be back for sure.
Not a massive menu but we all enjoyed the food and drink. A bit of a hipster kinda place but I am looking forward to trying the steak.
Great environment, good food, actually excellent food, too many good options on the menu! A tiny bit pricey, but we left with full bellies and a smile on our faces!
I once came here and ate a pigs head, had million beers and made the best joke someone had ever heard. Dont mean to shade on the other 5 star revs here but anyone who thinks they can top that has never sat next to me at a GABS night.
This place. Wow. Everything is good. SO good. I can never go past a steak and a pint of pulled English ale.
Love this place. Staff provide great service and display great knowledge of the menu. Food is to die for!
Friendly atmosphere, good food, great variety of on tap beers and reasonably priced wines by the glass. Waitress, Bonnie, was efficient and very pleasant. A fig and goat cheese entree was divine. Blue Grenadier fish for main was delicious. The 4 of us all enjoyed every dish. Could not squeeze in dessert but there's always next time.
The meat pie I ordered was good and the wine was delicious. The cocktail I ordered was too sweet for me. Their brisket special that my partner ordered was amazing! Service was friendly and quick.
Best pie I've ever tasted. Very attentive service. Will go back for dessert -was too full from my main on this occasion
Food is too fatty, salty and over the top. Couldn't finish the meal and felt a bit unwell walking home as well. Heard the roast is good on a Sunday but don't want to risk it.
It's worth the wait, the food is so good it melts in your mouth. Pricey but the atmosphere is great and All finished off with the best negroni, i love that drink, sit at the bar or make sure to book, this place is busy and for good reasons
Great wine, wonderful food and exceptional service.
Don't be a git.and get on down here!
Chris is amazing, knows his products and incredible in his service style, was able to cater to our small groups needs and ensured that we left completely satisfied.
100% would recommend. Come in and spend some time drinking and eating. This place won't let you down.
Cosy restaurant. Laid back. Huge selection of gin drinks, smaller selection of craft beers and wine. Hipster bar meets restaurant. Excellent waits raff. Food a little disappointing. Bread dry. Main course was hit and miss and dessert was terrible. 5.6/10.
Contemporary styled traditional dishes with a great drinks menu and good service. My wife and I had a shared entree and then main each, but we were too full for dessert
Nice atmosphere and good food, probably lost its initial values along the way though. Very little British fare to choose from.
