We had a gorgeous time at Northern Git! The food is fantastic — classics with a twist and created with flair. Everything was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. We were cared for with warmth and humour by Anna. Thank you for a perfect evening. I'll be back soon x

Not the cheapest of restos by a long shot but excellent food and service. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Went to Northern Git for their Sunday Roast, and had a great lunch. I got the pie, and my wife got the roast and it was delicious. I also had the homemade lemonade, which I HAVE to recommend, and my wife got the iced coffee, which was done in a very unexpected way, but was so delicious, and perfect for a hangover.

The servings were huge, you definitely won’t leave hungry!

Food was shocking
Had the pork snitzel, dry overcooked and tastless frozen, crackling out of a packet.

This place does not miss. Have been here countless of times and I have never left with less than the best experience. Food, drink and service are second to none. Highly recommend for your next dinner.

Great selection of craft beer AND food. Highly recommend the pie and house gnocchi. Must visit when in Melbourne. Corine and crew were amazing. Best chai latte in Thornbury.

We decided to try something new today and we had one of the best late dinner! Friendly and delicious food for sure we will back to try other foods again!

Their Sunday Roast stuffed chicken breast with Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes with mushroom gravy and carrots mashed with herbs and peas all done by an English chef ‍ 5 stars

The staff, service and food were excellent. The wine list had a reasonably good selection, but most items were on the expensive side.
One of the most expensive meals we have had as a group though.

Great Sunday roast and the best Yorkshire!
We arrived after 4pm when it was very quiet so didn't get the full atmosphere experience but that didn't detract from the food.

Relaxed atmosphere, welcoming and knowledgeable talent. Great food (ask for recommendations) and cocktails

Bad service.i had to go and ask for cutlery. Prawn ontray disgusting.the whole experience was unpleasant food not nice. Im sorry I wasted $300.

Wow! First time at Northern Git and it was amazing. The moral of the staff was absolutely incredible, friendly and happy! Steaks were incredible and the wine was amazing!
An unfortunate accident occurred on Plenty road involving some ducklings and the staff assisted us in every way whilst we ran out of the restaurant, dropping everything to provide boxes and emotional support!

Had our son's 21st birthday dinner here. Karine was amazing at putting together a set menu for our family. Could not recommend the place more, food and service was spot on.

Pork schnitzel very nice. Good service, vibes and interior also nice. I thought charging for a sauce on a steak is a bit rough though.

Not your average Sunday Roast - this one was above and beyond! A must try here along with the flaky bread.
