NeNe Chicken

Fried chicken has come along way in Melbourne since gammi opened its doors and Ne Ne appears to have taken Elizabeth St by storm.
While NeNe was on the "average" end of taste n quality for me when it came to my freshly made to order burger, the fries and drink wernt bad at all.
The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean and clear of rubbish.
This place does need more seating, toilet access and a cheaper menu to compensate for the "run of the mill" taste and quality!

Pretty good for Korean fried chicken but still not as flavour packed as the reigning champion Gami's

This place serves Halal chicken. Reach 30-40 mins prior to closing time. We had reached 30 mins prior on a Sunday and they were closing but the staff was very courteous and they served us.
We were a group of 7 people we tried the jumbo flavoured pack & fries.
For the Jumbo flavoured pack we tried three varieties
The Swicy - which was okay
Snowing cheese - MUST TRY
Freaking hot was spicy & delicious too.
The meal costed $18 Per person which was economical and worth it.

Wanted to buy food, called up at around 8 and they only had 2 servings of rice. I asked if they were able to make more but they said that they were not able to deadesp the fact that they were still going to be open for another 3 hours.

Another time I went, food took forever even though they didn't have a lot of people and when the food came, there was minimum cheese powder

Food although at Nene is good, wouldn't recommend people to come to this store. Service is not good.

I have to agree with Matt. Minimum boneless chicken at $29. Chicken is so average. The wraps are better at KFC. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. They also surcharge for using credit card. Typical.

Great food and economic as hell will defiantly be back, absolutely love the blue cheese flavour for the wings

Terrible wrapping. Putting no effort at all. Took about 30 mins for an order as well. Had to go back and complain.

Must try for all fried chicken lovers! Freakin Hot is my all time favourite and always freshly made!

Beyond bad! The chicken is putrid, the sauces are sickly and the only option to buy boneless chicken starts at $30. There will repercussions for Fardin in the office who suggested this carcrash of an eatery. A single star is generous on this occasion.

The chicken is so-so. Sam Sam Kitchen is better. The service leaves much to be desired. The self-service counter run out of metal chopsticks, cutlery and water bottles, but no one seemed to care.

Made me wait for an hour.they didn't even realize until I followed it up.worst thing is it didnt went into the system and have to wait an extra 5 minutes.oh I got free water tho.haha

Not really a good place to dine in if you are eating out with a group of friends (5+) since it was quite cramped.

Finally got around to trying this place. Wrap was pretty good. The chips were impressive as were the cheesesticks.

Haven’t been here for a while, ordered 4 pcs swicy chicken taking away. The drumstick didn’t smell fresh and I felt sick afterwards.

It was such a wasting money, buying chicken wrap. It shouldn’t be called wrap. Tortilla was broken in the middle, sauce and chicken were everywhere. I ended up eating chicken only.

Really not good. Food is not nice, but I still had to wait 15 mins for a chicken wrap. Toilets were being renovated so unavailable on the night I was there. Surcharge for credit card.

Tried it the first time and i have to say that ive found my spicy fried chicken place here in Melbourne. The chips and colelaw makes good side dishes. Gloves are provided to eat with while dining in the restaurant, this made the whole experience a lot easier and more enjoyable without the mess.

Horrendous service, made me wait for 30 minutes for my take away. Those Korean girls need to figure out what they are doing.
