NeNe Chicken

Foods are usually great. Service is absolute trash. I think the waitress is Vietnamese, short and wear a cap. She's working today at afternoon and she got attitude. Not only she plays with her phone when I ordered but she also yelled at my mom. The waitress and cook were probably bad mouthed me in her language too. Absolute trash. I usually like to go there but I won't anymore because of the bad service.

This afternoon I feel very disappointed this afternoon 12.30 pm, the cashier is a young woman but she doesn't focus on her customers because she plays on her cellphone and replies to chats. 2 times I said I would eat at the place, 2 times I said there were 2 kinds of my order. But when I said my order the second time he focused on cating his cellphone. I got angry and just bought 1 kind and he asked if I could take it home, I answered eating on the spot. He replied to the chat and didn't listen to my answer. And he asked again. I answered eating on the spot. When the food was finished I was called and it was given to take home, the tone was rude. As a parent, I felt very angry and disappointed at the young female cashier. Apart from being rude, it turned out that she did not focus on customer requests. Bad service

Tasty chicken. Can get as mild or spicy as you like. Fresh tender chicken with a variety of flavours. Love the gloves you get to keep the spicy off your fingers.

In recent times the chicken has been always fresh and crispy and absolutely delicious! There is a slight waiting time and sometimes it's annoying if half my pieces are wings.

Ordered regular chicken, everything was good, normal wait time and they did not look like they were understaffed (must have made improvements?)

Best value for your fried chicken cravings! Ordered here so many times and never had any problem. Price is too cheap for people to be complaining at all.

The staff wasn’t good at all didn’t listen to the order carefully and was in a rush all the time. Would not come back here again.

Freaking slow services. The checkout staff does not learn any time management skills. Waited more than 30 minutes for 10 pieces of fried chicken! The customers were kept waiting in queue to take their orders, while the checkout staffs were processing food prior to taking orders. Three people were queued 5 minutes to wait for the counter staff finish their packaging work on hand, and after that we are told there will be another 20 minute waiting time. If you are starving and really need a fried chicken in a moment, NeNe chicken is not recommended. KFC is a better choice and save so much time.

The taste is the best out of all the Nene nearby, but why tf u guys are not part of the Melbourne Money? Shouldn't you post something to remind customers you are not part of it?

Ordered a takeaway. Never had such a burnt fries in my life. Didn't expected this from a franchise like Nene chicken. If the fries are that burnt, why would you even bother to serve them.
Freaking hot sauce was not coated properly to the chicken, as if they ran out of the sauce in the middle of cooking.

The restaurant is so understaffed. And they ran out of nearly every menu item.

Even my sauce got swapped to something else without notice.

You can see heaps of people waiting all around the restaurant as it takes ages for the food to come out.

The owner - please take note to hire more staff! Really hope the overworked staff are being paid proper wages.

I ordered half and half boneless. The amount of chicken was small and the chicken packaging was a mess. There were two pieces on the paper bag. The most disappointing thing was that I called the store to place an order, but he didn't answer the phone. But when I went to the store, I could order it. The staff deliberately didn't answer the phone. The store service was a mess.

Severely understaffed on a public holiday between 9pm to 10pm. Only one person cooking and one person taking orders.

Waited 35 minutes and counting for 12pieces of plain chicken.

People behind me got their orders first.

Everything is chaotic.

+15% surcharge for public holidays.

My wife loves the place. She introduced me to it and now we go there regularly, because the chicken is just delicious. Great fast food place.

2nd time order here still not familiar with all the flavours, but the staff was nice and patient with us. Long waiting during peak time, will comeback ~

Very slow 2 kitchen staff, 1 cashier I ordered 18pcs waiting more than 30 mn. Number pick up reached to 78 but I was still in 60 rank and still waiting. Also I saw number 88 ready for pick up as well. Why many numbers were ready while mine still waiting

Slow service, and discriminate
Charge me $0.24 for a bag, while when two locals asked the woman for a bag, she give them for free.

Ordered half n half chicken but not reasonable price…only one leg came and four pieces each flavor, 8 small pieces came in total.

Very slow service, initially said 15-20mins for 8 pieces of chicken, but turns out to be 35mins wait, unacceptable. It seems they don't care about customers who order directly in the store, they only care about the orders from 3rd party food delivery apps.

Very disappointed.
Bad service and chicken tasted really bad (that particular bad smell of chicken was so strong so I couldn’t eat at all) also, there was only 1 piece of chicken drum stick instead of two

Seriously Don’t recommend you will be wasting your money as well as your time
