Probably one of the best, if not the best Malaysian food store in Melbourne.just wished they could be more consistent with their sambal.sometimes it's amazing, sometimes it missed the mark a little bit. And being called Nasi Lemak House, sambal is the paramount element for me. All in all, great food!

Got the beef rendang and chicken Nasi goreng. Very good beef curry paired with a fried rice dish. Tasted amazing and arrived quickly!

Chicken laksa came out lukewarm, I asked to have it heated up and I think they did it in the microwave (gross!). Our seafood char kway teow came out as chicken (!?). The lady even came out to say it was wrong. Within 10 minutes of receiving our food all of it was taken back to the kitchen to be fixed. I also asked for table water and never received it. I will never return, and if you read this then you risk having the same mediocre experience. Take your money elsewhere.

I have a place now for my Hot Asian Hawker Food Cravings! ️

@nasilemakhouse has one of the best Authentic Asian and Malaysian Dishes that you cannot miss!

A spicy food lover’s delight, I was swooned by the flavours of their Nasi Goreng and Me Goreng!

The noodles have a nice tension and gauge comes in decent quantity as well. The flavors are legendary ; it’s just excellent! A sweet, salty and spicy combo that works so well - very balanced and tasty.and how can one miss a side of chicken wings, droolworthy!
This one is a 10/10

Visited Nasi Lemak house the other night for dinner and we had an amazing experience!

The space itself is small but I'm glad there is seating available to dine in. The lady that served us was so lovely and she provided us recommendations of what she likes best too. I can tell she is passionate about this cuisine. We ordered the Fried Chicken Nasi Lemak, Seafood Char Kuey Teow and the Spicy Sambal Chicken Burger.

The highlight for me was that incredible burger. It was overflowing with fried chicken which was so perfectly crunchy and juicy in the middle. I could definitely taste the sambal, and for the cheap price this is such great value. If visiting this venue, don't miss out on the burger!

The Nasi Lemak was very authentic and we enjoyed the char kuey teow as well - it was very flavourful and had a good amount of seafood in it.

Another favourite for me was the Teh Tarik hot drink. I've only tried the cold version previously, but served hot it was very comforting and the subtle sweetness actually helped to cleanse the palate between the different dishes.

It's easy to see why this place is so popular, especially for takeaway by the locals. It really reminded me of my visit to Malaysia and how much I enjoyed the food there. Thanks team!

The other day, we had a mind blowingly delicious and authentic Malaysian lunch @nasilemakhouse Where you will find all the best Malaysian cuisines in their menu from Nasi Lemak, to Mee Goreng to Nasi Goreng to Laksha to beverages like Teh Tarik.

But the one dish here that stands out from the rest of the Malaysian food joints is the Spicy Fried Chicken Sambal Burger, which is unique yet so delectable at the same time. A filling burger with a huge fried chicken thigh, that is so crunchy on the outside and juicy in the inside, laced with spicy sambal sauce and slaw. It's so irresistible and will definitely make you fall in love with this place.

Also we had, Seafood Mee Goreng which are fried Hokkien noodles, the spice level of which you can choose. We opted for medium spicy and it was such a mouth watering dish full of flavors and seafood, with their generous portion, it's perfect to share between two people.

We had chicken wings with chilli mayo amd the wings were exceptionally crispy, juicy yet tender in the inside, making it such a yummy side.

Teh tarik, hot, I've always been a fan of Teh Tarik and their scintillating aroma and the flavor was so authentic and reminded me of all those layover moments at Kuala Lumpur airport while traveling back home to India.

So guys, definitely checkout @nasilemakhouse And their original yet immensely delicious Malaysian food menu. Moreover, their service is quick and the staff are real helpful and kind.

One of the worst Nasi goreng ever. Oily and tasted just like rice that has been slightly burnt. The omelette on top was tasteless no salt whatsoever. I am hugely disappointed in this place. Just lots of hype but no real authenticity.

First time here. Ordered the chicken laksa. Good serving size. Laksa flavor was mild.

Overall impression: no frills restaurant setup, friendly staff, good range of food options. Good choice for a quick meal or for students.

Interesting Note: they were playing western country music in the background. Curious choice of music given the cuisine.

It’s legit, quick, spicy and simple bit of Malaysian cuisine. I don’t think any other Malaysian restaurants come close with their nasi lemak. Small, casual seatings. Could do with a bit more range of drinks and desserts to complement the authentic food.

Cute little place with unpretentious food. A bit of variety in the menu, but I haven't gotten past the Nasi Lemak section yet

The extra sambal flavours definitely pack some punch, and are strongly recommended!

It can be busy outside when the weather's nice, so try and bring a friend to reserve a spot: 3

Lovely service and dishes to go along with nasi lemak. The traditional sambal however was a tad too spicy for our tolerance haha. Still tasty though and would recommend for those who cannot tolerate much heat in their sambal to try the Kelantan sambal:)

I'm giving this rating because of the fantastic laksa I had there this evening. A medium chicken laksa that had some heat, but with a depth of flavour as well. Thankyou really enjoyed it.

Went there for a first time and totally falling in love with the nasi lemak! If you miss the hawker food back in hometown, they also serve fried rice and noodles! Give it a try and you will be immediately feels just like home. Staffs are really friendly and the ambience is good, plus you can have a seat outside if you want the natural air feels while dining:)

They've got the BEST nasi lemak i've ever eaten in Melbourne. Their traditional sambal is the best but only if you can eat spicy though. Will always be back for their nasi lemak.

Not quite good, more expensive than expected for Nasi Lemak as chicken drumsticks are cheap ingredients. Chili sambal was too hot to me, so couldn't eat most of it, would be helpful if they indicate the level of heat. Killiney Singapore Street Food down at Lygon St.has better price, cheaper for nasi lemak.

First time here but quite a bad experience when comes to service here. I find the food ok but nothing I will highly recommend. The lady who placed order expected me to know everything and saw me sitting down without telling me I need to take my own drink. Until another lady came and told me that. Can’t finish food and charged 50 cents for a takeaway box.

To be honest, quite average. And no toilet which seems like it shouldn't be allowed to operate as a food store without one. Strange, I'm not familiar with Victorian law but it seems odd.

Extremely bad experience. We ordered 4 different dishes and they all worse than we could ever expect. Rice was reheated. Noodles were overcooked and not freshly done at all. Overall never recommend
