Nando's

I used to live nearby and came here every Wednesday, Then I moved to some other place temporarily and now I have moved back.
So I thought let's start my Nandos routine.
I went there on Sunday evening and was totally disappointed.
Table were messy. A African waitress with sweat on her face had no expression did not reply to my questions. No sauce bottles expect for couple of extra hot sauce bottles, asked for bell pepper and mild sauce bottle, they said no sauces I believe it is the manager handed me few take away sauce packets. Then I saw one other customer was given a bell pepper sauce bottle. When I expressed my displeasure they got some bell pepper sauce in a small bowl. They forgot the french fries when reminded no apology given instead a over fried old fries were put on table.
Totally disappointed.

Nando's werribee is such a lovely place to eat at family has become regular customers.

Food is great, always tasty and the chicken never over cooked or burnt

Service is good, sometimes the wait time can be a bit excessive with the amount of take out orders they process.

The atmosphere is great. I'd however recommend that they increase their music volume because customers can't hear it playing.

Overall experience was great, and we will continue to visit nando's werribee.

Not one to leave bad reviews but Nandos need to seriously look at their service. Ordered delivery through the app from Werribee store. Waited an hour for the delivery only for the doordash driver to text that the Werribee store told them they were out of chicken and to cancel the order. Tried calling the store but number disconnected, called Nandos customer service, was put on hold for 5 mins and got hung up. I understand that sometimes you run out of stuffs but whats bot good enough is to have 0 communications. Someone from the store could have called and said sorry we are out, would you like something else? 1.5 hrs later the order is still active but apparently not getting our dinner tonight.

Disgusting food it came out cold and the joint was a mess every table full of rubbish no where to sit down

Always love Nandos, we arrived and it was quite busy. We were waiting but an African family totally steamrolled us and took the table. Our table was next but it wasn’t cleaned. I went to the front to ask and was told they will send someone. Thankfully it was cleaned just before the order arrived. Waiter was very nice. The floor wasn’t cleaned and water spillage was there. The waitress told that they don’t have the tools to clean the floor, we said “its ok we will manage”. My daughter asked for the straws for herself (7 yrs old and my 4 yr old son) but was told there were no straws available.
Average at best but the food was great as always.

Worst staff rude and didnt even greet the lady was straight up like what you want? Worst customer service dont come in to ruin your food experience rather uber eats it. The ambience of the restaurant is great but the moment we walked in our table was not cleaned at all. We have to pick the plates and move and I will post a photo of what it looks like. Rodoculous service, front door is closed without any sign. I am just never going there again.ffs

Restaurant opens at 11 we arrived 11.30 doors where still locked waitress just looked at us standing outside she then proceeded to unlock the other doors not the doors we and others where waiting at and gestured for us to go there. Then when inside there was no apology for leaving us outside and Not being open when they are supposed to be then didn't even take our order for 10 mins. The additude of the staff especially the waitress! Is absolutely appalling would not recommend this location at all!

I dislike how now everything has a QR code to order.
What happened to good old service.

Food was great though and will definitely go again, especially as it was my first time having Nando's.

Restaurant wasn't very clean though. Unfortunately one staff member for the floor and trying to bring food out and clean up at same time at dinner time when it was busy was too much for one staff member.

After getting icecream next door and walking back to car, the table next to us and said staff member were at our table and going through food we left behind we stood outside window watching in shock.

Food is good but the place is so dirty.their is mould growing around hand washing basin.toilets are destroyed.

The food is perfect each time. Orders are packed perfectly and have never missed a thing. BUT DO NOT go there Friday and Saturday evenings specially between 7.30-9pm! There is a surge of Uber/Menulog/Deliveroo etc and the wait is sometimes an hour minimum! I'm not even kidding- they stop taking orders as they cannot keep up!
The dockets are everywhere and the poor lady behind the counters is seen struggling keeping up - I feel for her
The pick up drivers are so rude sometimes with little to no manners for the staff.
Another suggestion DO NOT dine in during those peak times. You'll be waiting and won't see food for ages!

Me and my partner love nandos! But I’m very disappointed with this store! Usually we never have any issues. We ordered food for pick up and I get the great pretender as I don’t eat meat. My partner picked up the food and when he got home we realised that my wrap had chicken in it, mistakes happen though so no big deal my partner goes back to explain they’ve put the wrong wrap in our order, my partner also shows our receipt and explains what item we need. The man at the counter is rude and clearly has no customer service skills at all. We are given our food and head back home to discover he has given me the wrong order AGAIN. 3 TIMES WE HAD TO GO BACK FOR HIM TO GET IT RIGHT! And we’re met with nothing but rudeness each time. We definitely won’t be having nandos again! Absolutely hopeless! If I could give no stars I would! Very disappointing as this is one of our favourite foods.

Will never recommend this chain. I tried to pay with cash and even told the manager to keep the change, he bluntly refused to accept my payment and canceled my order. Every other Nando’s accepts cash for payment without a problem whatsoever. The main reason why businesses like this one fail is because they don’t value their customers and continuously behave in a manner where the customer never feels welcomed or accommodated. Let this franchise be an example

My wife ordered a quarter of a chicken - store wasn’t busy but took over half an hour to get her order - received spicy chicken strips instead. Complained to the manager, was told it would be another 15 mins wait for her order, when she said she couldn’t wait any longer they refused to refund her as she had ordered via PayPal - absolutely atrocious service - would give less than 1 star if possible…

We to go this place often and always get the food done nicely and serve properly, keep it up guys.

We waited 1 hour for dine in yesterday, we ordered half chicken and fries + chicken classic burger at Werribee store. After long wait we got served very cold food but as we were very hungry we accept it. However, it was really bad night.

Service was bad and we were disappointed that you had to order online when dinning in. Food was great and quick but it's not hard to provide good service and make customers feel welcome. Maybe they should do self serve.

Completely over the fact you have to order online for take away orders. There is no way I have time to order the food while working to pick up on my lunch break and Ordering online isn't always quick or easy. New staff dont seem to be cutting it. Been completely turened away because they are to busy. Bring back the customer service. How much is 1 person to stand on the registers really costing you. Will not be returning to this store. Even though I work right next door

In these days of staff shortage or shortage of skilled staff, the 3 girls (staff) here are doing a fantastic job. Well done

Poor service and disaster burned food and staff says thts how we cook.
Highly recommend don't even visit to this place

Worst service ever, went into shop and was told we can’t pay cash, so I was happy to pay with card and then they said sorry you have to order online, are you serious, we will never go back to Nando’s again bad business practice
