Food was nice but music was way too loud. We had to shout at each other which wasn’t a nice experience. Poor staff I reckon their hearing will be stuffed

Mr Miyagi is always a good time! It's a great atmosphere, especially on Friday and Saturday nights - although it's always a good place to have drinks with friends. I've now tried all the drinks on the cocktail menu (there isn't many), and my favourite would have to be the Hello Kitty Sour. I do wish there were some more cocktail options!

In terms of the food, I'd definitely rate it one of the best Japanese inspired eateries in Melbourne. I especially love the Ramen Gnocci, however it is very overpriced considering the portion size. The desserts are great too- I can't seem to come here without getting a Fuji Apple Pie. It's the perfect combination of apple, cinnamon pastry, cornflakes and salted caramel ice cream.

Definitely a favourite and have always been a favourite. From the drinks menu to the food menu options, they are so good.

We had the feed me menu and the food was really good. The favourite has got to be the salmon nori taco, they are so good and is so different from what you would usually get elsewhere.

The staff is really friendly and the decor is classy and chic. Highly recommended and it's one of my favourite Asian fusion dining spot in Melbourne

Every time we've been here we've had nothing but amazing service and amazing food! Even when we've had to wait a while for a table. One of my favourite dishes is the salmon nori taco which is always delicious but I can't fault any of the dishes!

Definitely on my 'go to' list, been here multiple times and the staff, food and ambience never fail to leave me with the best impression!

Underwhelming takeaway. The eggplant katsu and pork katsu were both very bland, devoid of any exciting flavours. Bao were ok, overall everything meh.

Disgusting! Ordered takeaway. This used to be good! Food was inedible! MFC cold and obviously cooked in old dirty oil! I suggest give this a miss as standards have dropped immensely.

I've always had a great experience at Mr Miyagi. The food is always delicious, and I really enjoy the espresso martinis here. The service is friendly & welcoming.

Funky decor and an impressive menu. Hang out in the bar / lounge in the back while you wait for your table. It can get pretty busy and staff a little stretched so order en masse and munch away as it arrives while you enjoy a glass of wine.

Food and drinks were very nice but the service was not great. Service slow and looked like the waiters didn't want to be there.

Didn’t get to try the food because you can’t make bookings for 5 people or less. Drove 30min to get here for there to be a 3 hour wait. Can’t see why they can’t accept smaller bookings.

Heard great things about this place so was really excited to come here. Food was amazing and staff were really helpful and friendly. Nice little bar out back as well. Recommend coming on a quieter night - we came on a Saturday and it was really busy, we only had our table for a short amount of time.

Great food and atmosphere.
But, I was super disappointed and surprised that you don’t have toothpicks, at all!
A famous restaurant at $80pp doesn’t offer toothpicks is surprisingly unexpected.

Amazing service, great atmosphere! Booked a booth for a birthday dinner and right from the get go staff were great, friendly and informative about all meals and dietary requirements for the whole table. Everything from the food to the music was fantastic and staff made a real effort for the birthday celebration. It made for an awesome night out and would definitely recommend!

I love coming here! Everything on the menu is delish. Favorite dish is the schnitty bao. Sometimes I come here just for that and a yummy martini!

This place is very nice looking and the dishes are well presented. However, the menu isn't clear on what is an entree and what is a main course meal. However, the design is simplistic but can be a little confusing.

Okay I love their food, but noticed with some dishes the portion sizes have decreased over time or are uneven and the wait time is just ridiculous. In saying that; the staff are lovely and helpful, some of their cocktails are amazing, food is to die for and the decor is impressive.
Warning overall the place is quite pricey.
You can't get everything right, but its a good solid place and something you should try at least once.

The food is always stunning and the proof lies in the long wait periods EVERY NIGHT. Best to book a booth and enjoy the night with sumptuous food and snazzy cocktails.

Another pretentious restaurant with mediocre food. Their famous nori taco had filling distributed in such a stupid way that I had to eat all the fish first and just rice by itself, and the whole thing just fell apart everywhere. Bolognese ramen gnocchi was way too salty. They're trying to hard to be hip but don't deliver.
