Mount Macedon Winery

We managed to get a table at short notice in the cellar door. Wine was outstanding. Menu was very good and lots of delicious options including pizza and platters. Service was a bit off and they mucked up our order / it was very delayed coming out but they made up for it.
Child friendly and we had to keep our dog outside which was fine but confusing as no outside tables as we had read it was pet friendly but isnt exactly.

Beautiful menu, lovely wines! Service was excellent & sitting on the deck in the sunshine, perfect!

A wonderful lunch at this beautiful winery. There is an option of two or three courses. I went for main and dessert and my husband has entree and main. The steak and roasted beet side was superb. The kingfish ceviche was also amazing. We had an estate Chardonnay that was elegant with citrus notes. Then a lovely spicy, Shiraz. A cheese platter and coffee followed. Service was faultless and the views are wonderful.

We recently had the most beautiful wedding at MMW. It was made so stress free from all the help from the the amazing staff, everything was perfect! The grounds, the food, the staff. Absolutly stunning venue.
Special shout-out to Ashley who made anything and everything feel possible and not a worry at all. We look forward to coming back soon ️

Brilliant service, were welcomed warmly and all Covid protocols done efficiently. Had to change our original booking because of lockdown and were able to rebook easily. Come with an appetite, the food is fresh and flavoursome, l had the trout entree and duck main, l was in a food comma when l finished, wine tasting at the table and highly recommend the Pinot noir.

Mount Macedon Winery was the very first venue we visited when we started our wedding planning. It only took one visit to MMW for us to lock this venue in for our wedding day, scrapping the need to visit anywhere else.

Elisha, Aly and Ashley are a super team who work incredibly well together to take the stress out of your wedding planning and wedding day. They put my anxious mind at ease with their organisation, professionalism, flexibility and expertise in the wedding planning area. Gus, the winery dog, was also a hit with guests during the night.

The venue is absolutely beautiful, nestled by a working farm and vineyard, which adds to its charm. We loved that this venue allows you to personalise and pick and choose your vendors to suit your style. We were even able to have our dog at our ceremony to join in the celebrations.

We would not change one thing about our wedding day and are forever grateful we were able to have it at such a wonderful place. Thank you Elisha, Aly, Ashley and the MMW team.

Wow! Just got back from the most magnificent lunch after our Lockdown 5.and was not disappointed with Mount Macedon Winery. Fabulous service, stunning views, kangaroo's, sheep roaming around and the Duck leg, braised lentils, tarragon & poached quince was to die for! Absolutely delicious. Cannot wait to go back again. We were planning to eat at the Mount Macedon Winery for some time. Finally, the opportunity presented itself and it was definitely worth the trip.

The restaurant setting is stunning - set among vines, overlooking the Macedon Ranges.
We asked our waitress for suggestions which were croquettes for a starter followed by slow cooked shoulder of lamb and potato gnocchi with truffle. The dishes were cooked to perfection and the flavour of gnocchi was unforgettable. The only little thing I would point out, is that the serving plates need to be warmed up more.

We had the most incredible meals at Mount Macedon Winery! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for top quality cuisine! The coconut mousse was the perfect way to finish our meal - 10/10!

What a stunning setting and our lunch was absolutely delicious. Gnocchi is my fav and it might have been the best I've ever had. Highly recommended.

Dont usually enjoy eating out on Mothers' Day but your chef and staff made this year's experience a memorable one. Your shared plates were awesome. Thankyou very much.

We had such an amazing day up at Mount Macedon Winery yesterday when what we thought was going to be a casual pre-Christmas family lunch turned into a surprise wedding. The team at the winery did an amazing job facilitating the surprise (cheeky things!) and looking after us through the day. The venue was beautiful, staff amazing, food and wine delicious! Highly recommended

Loved everything about MMW: the food was delicious (especially the pizza), the wine was fantastic (loved the Pino Noir), the staff were friendly and professional, and the views were stunning. The whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming, already in a hurry to come back - is a shoo-in for a great day!

We were lucky enough to choose this venue to get married at. Everyone we had anything to do with at MMW were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist us. I would highly recommend it and can't wait to get all our professional photos back as this place looks amazing at sunset.

I think my grandma works here, just checked she does. Her pizza are delicious and so are her sausage rolls.

We were over the moon with our wedding at Mt Macedon Winery. We want to say an enormous thanks to you for your amazing work through the whole planning process as well as on the night itself. Right from the start you've all been that perfect but rare balance of calm relaxed yet super organised and competent. We always felt like we were in good hands, and our vendors all reported that you were one of the best venues they've worked with. Our celebrant told us you were the only ones to have ever called her to confirm details! It was so nice for us to know that whenever we had an idea, a challenge or a question, we could just pick up the phone or shoot you an email and your answer was always thay you could make it work.

The setting itself is gorgeous, the ceremony gardens were perfect, the dancefloor on the deck just amazing and the retreat was a great place to stay after it was all over. Superlatives are not enough!

We highly, highly recommend MMW as a wedding venue.
