Had the 3 course lunch and couldn’t fault the quality of the food one bit. Absolutely Delicious! Highly recommend

Had a girlfriend's catch up lunch and loved the experience. The food was absolutely delicious, staff were friendly, helpful and terrific, views are spectacular. We were quite impressed at how quiet the noise in the restaurant was given the large lunch time crowd. We live in the area so travel on a part dirt road was not a problem.

Gravel Rd for small section of road but the restaurant and wine offerings are well worth the trip. Definitely great food and we will be back to enjoy your offerings again.

A little bit and miss. Lovely location with sweeping views.

Room is more of a function venue in style. Acoustics look to have been an issue with foam damping attached under tables and chairs to help with the high number of hard sound reflective surfaces.

Chairs seem chosen to promote turnover - really rather hard for longer multi course restaurant service.

Food was generally decent. Nice duck and lentil entree. Lamb rump main was more fatty that I would expect and yoghurt dressing seemed to be missing any notable tahini character. Charred broccoli was spot on.

Service was friendly. Desserts arriving before mains were cleared (& in one case, even finished) was a booboo. Those that had dessert did appreciate them.

On the expensive side for a Sunday lunch.

I was absolutely blown away with the quality off the food and service. The pricing was a incredible considering how high the service and standard of the food was. I WILL BE BACK!

Fantastic restaurant to come here for a 3 course dinner. Duck breast and Pork Belly for entrees, Eye fillet and Lamb rump for mains had the right combination of crispy skin, tender meat and lots of tasty sauce. Basque Cheesecake for dessert was out if this world! Wonderful combination of textures sorbet, cheese, meringue and crumble. Generous portions, beautiful location and friendly staff. Suggest more seamless upbeat background music to enhance the quiet ambience. Overall a perfect night out.

We recently had lunch at this wonderful restaurant. The food, wine and service was outstanding. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience and very much look forward to our next visit.

Pleasant setting, good spacious dining room, good food options, efficient service, a treat for a celebration lunch.

We had a wonderful extended family lunch. Service was friendly attentive and amazing. Food and wine sensational too. All round fantastic and an added plus was the views of freezing cold cloudy Mount from inside warm and toasty restaurant

Madison served us outstanding service and was very knowledgeable with the winery. The food was delicious and their 2019 Chardonnay was impressive. Our two favourite dishes was pork belly which melted in your mouth and the beef cheek was divine! But the best was their apple tart and honeycomb ice cream, which everyone totally agree… as they had most of my dessert instead of theirs.

We love coming here! We've only been to the Cellar Door but in saying that we've been once a month since we booked this beautiful place as our wedding venue! Can't wait for March 2024 and the many more amazing dining experiences we will have here before then.

Great pizzas at the cellar door and lovely wines although they weren't doing tastings for to being fully booked which was a bit unfortunate. Good service too.

We got married at Mount Macedon Winery 2 weeks ago (Feb 2023) and we had the most magical day we could have asked for.

We had a cocktail style wedding and all our guests could not stop talking about how delicious all the food was, and no one was left hungry, we actually couldn’t get through all the food!

Not only was the venue absolutely stunning, the staff were beyond amazing. Whether it was helping me with my dress, adding more chairs to our ceremony space last second, or helping the groom with his buttonholes, they were always right there to help us and ensure everything would run perfectly.

Elisha was extremely thorough and so helpful with our pre-wedding meetings and we always left our meetings feeling a sense of gratitude and reassurance.

Thank you for such a wonderful day had by all at our daughter's Lucienne and Jake's wedding 17-02-2023. We couldn't ask for a better place to be celebrated at.

Unfortunately I didn’t have a good experience, went there to have a lunch and wine tasting. I got there 3pm and kitchen was closed when on the website say 4: 30pm. The service wasn’t as I expected, the staff was clearly tired and didn’t provide a good service.
But the wines were tasting.

First time visit, taking friends from Germany for lunch! Lovely setting! Charming young lady doing the tasting at the Cellar door. Loved the sparkling white wine and later the Merlot with our lunch. Restaurant was cool and quiet with a pleasant outlook. Food was innovative with good pairings. The eye fillet was particularly good. Great service from our young waiter who was very obliging. Next time, we look forward to enjoying the pizzas at the Cellar Door! They looked amazing!

Gorgeous views, friends said food was delish, staff were lovely & attentive, parking was pretty good. I only came for a quick hour but enjoyed it a lot, will def be back

What an amazing experience.

It's rare that you get such high-quality food, wine, waitstaff and views all in the once place. A true tribute to dining.

I had the scallops and the lamb, wow! That is about all that can be said, wow! Soft, tender scallops and rich succulent lamb. Great fresh produced, cooked perfectly.

The wine is also delicious. I had the 2019 Chardonnay and the Cab Merlot - both were exceptional but the Cab Merlot was the stand out. Not a varietal I often drink though the fruit-forward flavour of this wine was a tribute to the blend.

Thanks to our wait team. They made our Anniversary very special. A special thanks to the maître d'. Holding our food so we could break made the 3 hour event so much more enjoyable. To be able to look into those views and drink your amazing wine over that period of time was truely fantastic.
