Got the salmon and cream cheese bagel on Uber eats today … WOW!

The every seed bagel is bloody magnificent! So flavourful! If they sold the seasoning in jars it would be a best seller!

The bagel was moist but chewy and they weren’t shy with the toppings which all complimented each other perfectly

Yummmmmm! I got a PB&J bagel and it was so good! Simple yet high quality. Would definitely come back and try out all the flavours.

The attention to detail of the tomato + cream cheese bagel is exceptional. This isn’t just a place that sloppily throws any old tomato on a bagel - they are perfectly selected, uniformly sliced, and the perfectly balanced ratio of tomato to bagel. The basil oil is an exquisite touch. It’s rare to eat food that has this level of perfection.

Have been to this venue so many times I’ve lost count! Each time they never fail to impress - the bagels are sooooooo delicious. Anyone who love bagels needs to try this venue

Mile end is only doing click & collect at the moment via their app, so keep in mind that you might need to spend an extra 10 mins standing outside to set things up. The app is a little buggy, but the bagels make it worth the effort

Bagels are hard and dry like stones, cheese and ham are cold like ice and salty like seawater. I don't know why this place is a famous bagel shop. Costco Bagel is more moist and delicious.

Bagels are great! Staff are very nice. One of the most popular bagel shops in Melbourne? Only online order is available atm. And then self-pick up

First and foremost, this is a Montreal style bagel shop. I wish others would review it with that in mind. I’m from NY and always look for good bagels (which I consider to be NY style.) Knowing that this place is not NY style, I was open minded and incredibly surprised at how similar they are! Other than the honey in the water the dough is boiled in, it seems the rest is the same. A bit crispy on the outside and dense and chewy on the inside - so so good! The cream cheese was a bonus - I purchased the bagels and two tubs of cream cheese (chive and “Dylan Capers” which has, surprise, dill and capers with what tasted like a touch of lemon.)
The busy, hard working staff was so friendly and helpful - super sweet, efficient and quick. My new favorite!

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE AN ANDROID PHONE! They only take orders via the app requiring you to store your card information and they don't have one for Android. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately mileend is now using an app for local ordering (not Uber eats) and now requires personal information to order any food. Previously we could just walk on and order but now everything is through the app. I have noticed standing here a few older people leaving as the app is too complicated for them. I eat here every day and the staff know me well but you have lost my business until I can order without providing personal identifiable information. Please think about this. I shouldn’t be giving any info to you just to order and pickup some bagels.

Honestly so disappointing

Got some plain bagels, honestly tasted like normal bread with an external crunch - no chewiness at all which is the defining trait of a BAGEL! A bit disappointed after walking 25+ mins for these, I recommened 5 and Dime instead

We live for the bagels at mile end but we do not live for the no cash system. Its 2021 - time to get a til

Naturally, when I see a bagel shop I abruptly pull over. I did double check the reviews and after many claiming this is “the best bagel in Melbourne” I was convinced that I had to try it out.

These bagels miss the mark by a long shot. I am genuinely shocked that this is what Aussies consider a good bagel. My oh my, you are missing out.

First of all, it was very dry. Seemed like many days old or just poorly made, not sure which is worse. What I really can’t get past is that this bagel was overwhelmingly sweet (and it was sesame)! Bagels should not be sweet. At all. So wrong.

Another massive disappointment on my search for a decent, authentic bagel in Australia.

(Adding a star because the cream cheese was A+)

Tasty bagels & decent coffee for takeaway. The everything bagel with chive cream cheese is my go to bagel. There’s often a line to grab and go so factor in a little wait.

Fresh bagel with fair price and cute wrapping paper. Been here couple of time and often getting bagel breakfast from here through Uber eats delivery but not a big fan for their drinks or coffee.

Good quality bagels. Slightly crisp outside, satisfying chew inside, Seasame adds good flavour. The brisket pastrami was not overly salty and came with a very generous portion balanced out by the addition of pickles cream cheese and Mustard. All up great lockdown park lunch.

Had #8. Love the cream cheese. Smoked salmon tastes good while tomato is a bit too cold feels like it’s just been taken out from the fridge

Usually I get the cinnamon raisin w vanilla mascarpone which is 10/10 but today I got the pastrami, a slippery little number with what they call a hot and sweet mustard although no heat was detected. Maybe the hot refers the person eating it. (me) Pastrami was stacked seventeen (17) layers high and i'm yet to decide if this was a good thing but one thing i'm sure of is that it wasn't over kill. I love you 4ever mile end see you soon xx

Highly recommend the brisket bagel! 10/10 bagel - chewy yet crispy with a great crunch and flavour

Super friendly staff, the place was spotless too! Their bagels are really fresh and dense & the fillings are so generous! I have walked past a few times and finally went in and tried it today and I wasn’t disappointed. I had the sesame bagel and it was delicious. The cream cheese is really tasty too, and you get soooo much! Can’t wait to bring some friends and try more flavours)
