Mile End Bagels reviews
66 We had the December special (turkey, cranberry, brie, watercress) and a cream cheese & raspberry jam bagel.
The Turkey was phenomenal, the flavours were perfectly balanced and super delicious. You definitely got your money’s worth - very filling. Highly recommend trying it out.
The Raspberry was exactly as described, but personally a bit too sweet. I wish the jam was more tart for balance. The lack of solid structure made the filling squeeze out when eating, so probably not one to eat on the go.
My friend wasn’t a fan of the iced latte.
The staff were very nice & friendly, and the store was super cute.
Every menu was super good. Wish to visit again. I always wanted to eat this bagel while I was in Mel.
One of the best bagel I have had in a long time. Staff were very friendly and the service was quick (despite being busy). Highly recommend Number 7 (Salmon and Dill) and Number 11 (Beetroot) - flavours were amazing. Only downside was the bagel was a little dry, otherwise, I will definitely be back!
Was my favourite place to get bagels but i can’t because no gluten free bagels: (please please make a gluten free bagel
Finally a place where the brisket amount is greater than the bread! It’s pricy but who cares when you get that much meat
Incredible bagels! Went in for one and was back the very next day for another. If I'm ever in Melbourne again I will definately be headed over to Mile End Bagels!
Best bagels I've had in Melbourne
Excellent bagels and flavor combinations.
I recommend to go for the number 9 and 12 on the menu.positives vibes from the workers who are always polite and accommodating.a definite must try!
Fantastic customer service. I ordered from the Richmond store by mistake and once we became aware of this they immediately offered me a replacement free of charge despite it being my fault. Great bagels always.
I do like the smell you get from fresh bread out of a wood fired oven. Immediately recognisable, which is nice because the wood fired bagels is a selling point yet the production is hidden by the minimalist plain toned facade that you walk into.
Not cheap, but I can justify that knowing the effort that must got into wood fired bagels. For takeaway, that’s put together in about 5minutes the quality of the fillings is exceptional. The chicken was excellent, I can’t imagine it being any softer. The BBQ sauce in the description almost turned me away but it was light and not overpowering at all- I’d be surprised it they didn’t make it fresh in house. A meal that slightly turns me around on the functionality of bagels as something other than toast.
Bagels were sold out by 1pm. Only offered us coffees not even other drinks from the menu. So dissapointed, I travelled far to only be turned away. Please anticipate demand a bit better - you are open till 3 but are sold out 2 hours prior to this.
NEVER COME HERE!
I experienced 2 DAYS of FOOD POISONING and was hospitalised over night over the smoked salmon bagel! This place has not even had the courtesy to call me back after my complaint and the expensive medical bills paid and hotel nights waisted on my trip because of there poor hygiene and dirty food! Save yourself the hospital trip and NEVER GIVE THIS SHOP BUSINESS
The service was great, the lovely guy that served us talked through what they have on the menu. We ordered #12, one of the best bagels we ever had. The bagel is good and the fillings itself was quite generous and full of other ingredients that compliments eachother. Would definately recommend, and will be coming back for more!
Rude customer service and long wait times for stale bagels - would not recommend.
Also order an overpriced "fresh" juice that was poured from a bottle in front of me?
Best bagels I've ever had - the bagel bread itself is perfect and the combo options are so good it's hard to choose
Good but not amazing. I think I went into this place with a little too much hype but bagels were around the $15 mark.
Mile end bagels is a must visit! The bagels are delicious, and their is plenty of filling options. They recently launched a tuna melt which is amazing. They have vego and vegan options. You can also get coffee, and you are guaranteed to meet some gorgeous doggos
I like mile end bagels and their staff are super lovely and helpful. Today I waited 40 mins for bagels when it was realised that someone else accidentally picked up the wrong order under my name, I feel if there was a ticketed numbering system in place for the future than this could be avoided. Otherwise bagels were good, stafff were helpful, just wish I didn’t have to wait so long and I wasn’t feeling good to begin with which ofcourse adds to how I’m feeling atm but yeah, will be back hope it’s a better system when receiving orders
Very delicious bagels, staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was a wear house vintage feel. Highly recommended. If you are in the area.
Been craving a Montreal style bagel since I got back to Aus. Mile End did not disappoint! I had the salmon, cream cheese & avocado on a sesame bagel… sweet and crunchy, perfect combo… keen to come back and try the other bagels! Also the coffee is great. I love the fact that this store is named after Mile-End in Montreal too, triggered some good memories for me
Just get their pastrami bagel end of story!
Salmon was kinda bland, smoke beef was mediocre but holy the pastrami so freaking good!
