Mexico City Bentleigh

Phoned through an order to pick-up and they wouldn't oblige with a simple request to put the burritos and rice/beans in separate containers. Since my wife can't eat the beans/rice, we ended up paying full price for less food. Definitely soured our experience after dining in earlier in the week and having a good experience.

Absolutely hopeless. My daughter booked a table for four for 7.00pm. She had just found out her ATAR score and wanted to celebrate with dinner at Mexico City. When we arrived, we were told there was no booking, as they dont take bookings for 7.00pm slots. It ruined her night. Do yourself a favour, go to "Wolfe and Malone"just up the street. Great service, great food. Very professional and polished. We will never frequent this establishment again

Not intentional but had no complementary chips and had to ask to be served.
Paella rice soggy and meat possibly recooked. Asked for chicken but got served beef.

Yummy food and strong cocktails! And converted my boyfriend to the Mexican side (finally!) make sure you book because both times I’ve been here they have been full to the brim. I had an enchilada last time, but the fajitas look like a lot of fun and my bf raved about the quesadilla. Will go back to explore more of the menu.

The food is awesome. So are the margheritas. BUT customer service I wouldn't vouch for. A certain manegerial staff was extremely rude and inconsiderate (on my bday). Whatever miscommunication occurs among staff shouldn't be taken out on a customer.

We have been here a few times and the food is always amazing. Very fresh ingredients and not the usual greasy Mexican food. The service is always fantastic but tonight was exceptional, Annabel deserves to be mentioned as her attention to our table whilst looking after other tables was faultless. We love coming here.

Thought would be the same as other store in elsternwick nothing like it.service was really bad had to wait an hour and a half for the meal.so bad was the service asked 3 times when meal arriving got no answer.never again

Atmosphere was typical of a packed out restaurant, perfect blend of laughter and conversation.

Absolutely loved this place! My husband and I just came for a lovely dinner had the best seat in the house at the bar and got talking to the team while we sat and ate our dinner and enjoyed our drinks. Service, drinks and food was impeccable

Big fan of Mexico City. Sometimes struggle getting the order correct but the food is always delicious!

It can get pretty busy and quite loud sometimes but the service is still great and food is always delicious. Parking is a little hard to find nearby sometimes but not unbearable.

What a great experience! The staff were sensational! The Manager spent extra time explaining the tequila menu in great detail and made some great reccomendations. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. The food did not dissapoint either. We were in on a Monday night and it was packed. We will definately be making this our new regular!

Had a group of 15 people and the food was amazing and the customer service was great.m, very attentive. Favourite local Mexican place for sure
