Merrywell Bar and Dining

The food was okay (tastes like ordinary beef and chicken burger nothing special about it). I liked the atmosphere, however the music was a bit loud.

Visited Merrywell on Saturday night. We had a booking and we had to sit outside, We wouldn’t have an issue with that, if the heaters were all working. We froze on a 6 degree night which put a downer on our night. Food got cold extra quickly and wasn’t enjoyable at all. Merrywell, if you are going to sit people outside on a Melbourne winters night make sure your heaters are working at full capacity!

Good setup, good food, good staff, pricing is a bit tough.

Tempted to drop a star for the expense but then realised the price makes it a sometimes food instead of an always food and that is DEFINITELY better for my diet. Star returned.

Onion rings are a highlight for me. Loaded Dog is a favourite. Salted caramel milkshake is another.

The staff are lovely.

Pros: decent sized burgers, nice causal place to eat

Cons: chips are NOT included with burger purchase, it is a little overpriced for what it is but given the location I suppose it is the norm

Summary: would return if in the area however wouldn’t travel to eat here

Chili dog was barely warm, covered in a rubber layer of greasy cheese, raw onions and the most anaemic flavorless "chilli". The sausage was almost raw but the skin was like leather. Actually the WORST food I've ever had in the crown complex. Woeful.

Tasty burgers, addictive onion rings. Pretty happy with our pre-cinema dinner, especially when we discovered it was happy hour!

Went to Merry well crown had the chicken wings. Please can someone tell the chef not to drown them in that aweful sauce. Not everyone loves sauce. The wings would have been great with the dredging in that sauce all sauces in a side remi would allow the diner to choose. Please that sauce is overpowering and a definite no no on the delicious wings.

NOOOO! Why did you have to change the menu? So disappointing to see yet another place in Melbourne turn into ‘asian inspired’ overpriced disaster. Bring back your American themed menu with beef sliders and buffalo wings. You’ve lost a long time loyal customer.

Really bad service, $30 for a drink, dry cheese burger and bland loaded fries. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Over priced. Go elsewhere!

Great burger joint, has been in Melbourne longer than I have. We had the Oz burger which was delicious with a large slice of beetroot and 2 slices of pineapple. We also had the kids burger meal which was a great size, a serving of onion rings and fries and a salted caramel shake. The shake was delicious had a butterry caramel taste.

Atmosphere was groovy. Prices reasonable. Staff look uninterested in being there, no smiles. Chips tasted re-cooked, assume as it's because the kitchen was closing soon. Food arrived relatively quickly.

Good burgers, nice chips, for whatever reason noone in OZ can make a thick shake properly and the Merrywell is no exeption.over very good experience.however prices are on the high side for the offer, i guess location location location

Food was great and staff are friendly. Greetings soon you walk in. I love the Music band. A lady and a men. I personally went up to ask if they got a Album or a Cd but unfortunately they don’t have one. Please pass my compliment to them.
