AJ the Assistant Manager was brilliant in helping us with all we needed. I had spoken to him over the phone the day before and he had also helped me amend my booking as well as go through our options with patience. He was also great on the night, looked after us very well. Thanks so much AJ, we will definitely see you again!

Racist bar who did not let us in. We had not had any drinks and were keen to have a few here. Very disappointed in the service and experience here. Shocking and you'd expect better.

Excellent food, good beverages (when they arrived - after all our dishes had been served!). Outdoor deck delightful.

Average at best. Walk 5 minutes down the road and head to Five Guys for better burgers.

Ordered the Spicy Chicken and Vege burger. The chicken burger although crunchy was bland tasting and unbelievably oily.

Chips were good but that’s about it.

The food, cocktails and service was fantastic. Only one downside was there wasn’t happy hour as mentioned on the website, that was the reasons I wanted to come to Merrywell.

I don't usually write reviews however my wife & I came down for our 26th wedding anniversary on Saturday. The cocktails and food were on point. I must say we enjoyed our night.

Relaxing bar to have a quiet drink. Multiple spaces to sit, including outside on the deck and inside near the fireplace.

We found this place walking past Crown. What an amazing venue.
Every dish we ordered was deelish, staff are lovely one of best places for the cocktails. They made yummy cocktails.
Will definitely be back.

Everything is perfect burgers and fries but the ice cream - no no no it’s like half an ice cream - staff needs to know how to operate the machine properly.but I wasn’t sure to laugh or cry when I saw my two ice cream cones - it was tasty but it looked like someone had ate half of it definitely room for improvement

Best customer service! All staffs are superb friendly, especially the lady called May. She was extremely helpful and kind to us. We ordered what she recommend and love the food. My friends and I gonna come back for sure. Thanks May: D

Food is good for what it is. Well priced, a lovely space (Upstairs) friendly service and excellent staff. A great place to take visitors from out of town who don't feel to comfortable visiting Melbournes more hipper venues

We had a brilliant afternoon at Merrywell! The live music was amazing, the food delicious and the service was outstanding! We will be rebooking for another visit soon.

The food here is superb with delicious cocktails to match, and they don’t serve up lolliwater, you can taste the spirits. The service is quite good, difficult to get attention of staff when seated outside. The ambiance is beautiful.

Great ambience and excellent service. Went for the bottomless lunch which had free flow of rose wine, furphy beer and other cocktails. The food was good and tasty. Each person had to pick two choices from the menu. The lobster on brioche was a stand out. Will definitely recommend this place to others. Well done!

Beautiful friendly staff, the 3 girls I dealt with were smiling, helpful and had Beautiful customer service. It's so rare to find this lovely customer service these day.

Quick service, lovely staff, was attended to straight away. Drinks were lovely, food was out to us within 10 mins of ordering, generous portions & great value for money. Will definetly come here again.

A list of starters a mile long and not a single one is appetising. Only 2 mains, both of which are heavy red meat items. Excuse we were given was " it's because of COVID". Would have been very easy to have more mains and less starters, more variety while accounting for COVID. Dress standards have dropped majorly as well. My last visit it was black slacks, nice shoes, and button up shirt, went hand in hand with its former upper class dining setting. Service was very poor. Menus, service, dress, and meal standards have dropped greatly. We sat down, we saw the menu, and were so disappointed that when the waiter approached we told them we would be eating elsewhere. Stood up and left.
