Excellent Brand, the guy Abdullah from Pre-owned vehicle sales is quite rude, visited LR last week and didn’t like the way he dealt with us.
Rubbish service, i took my car for minor repairs and they said its just few hundred dollars but received a phone call next day and service manager said sound is coming from under the engine, so all engine needs to be removed. They didn't give me any written quote.i ended up with 9000 dollar bill and they didn't find anything under the engine making sound. Never take your car for repairs to Port Melbourne land rover or make sure you get written quote in advance.
Bought a car here. Good service. Staff were friendly and provided answers to all the questions put to them.

After spending a quite a bit of time researching and visiting other car sales businesses we stopped into Port Melbourne as our last stop of the day. Our dealings with both Abdullah and Andrew was truly comforting, genuine and open! Abdullah your fantastic and if wasn't for your great personality we could ended up buying from another store. I bought a brand new car from here. The sales are very helpful. And try their best to meet my demand about the car. Good attitude and service.
Terrible value for money. No complaints about quality of work performed, but the strong impression is they give advice overstating what is needed, to create several thousand dollars of unnecessary work. And they’re completely useless in acting as a Landrover contact with manufacturer when it comes to client concerns (in my case significant parts, at 3 and 6 years of age of the car, which are non wear and tear items but just broke). There are more trustworthy and competent Landro experts around, who won’t gouge on price and conjure up unnecessary work to empty your wallets of thousands of dollars. And good luck getting them on the phone to book car in - between no answering of service department of phone calls and multiple emails, and also personally left phone messages at switchboard, it took an effort just to make contact to book the car in. Maybe mclr is ok for first 2 or so years of car, but mine is only 6 years old and I’ll be going elsewhere from now on - a non-dealer, but an expert just the same, who gives fair advice, not exploitation. And with regulatory changes making sure that manufacturers give full technical information to non-dealers, that option will only get better.
Highly recommend! We dealt with Andreas throughout the purchase of our new Land Rover, we found his friendly approach made our experience smooth and trouble free. The information provided was relevant to our situation and showed he had listened to our needs and requirements. We are very happy with our new car and look forward to dealing with MLR in the future.
After reading some rather bad reviews, I have to say that Andre in the service department was great to work with - he knew what needed to be done on our Evoque - rang me at midday for an update and found a way to get the best price for the replacement parts needed.
Poor Customer Service and Poor Buying Experience. Spend $220,000 on a brand new Range Rover Sport. It arrived with marked paint and needed the front bonnet, bar, drivers door all re-painted. They did take care of this but I have never experienced that before on any other new BMW, Mercedes, Porsche or even a Hyundai.
Next is the service team - Keeping door locked at 7.15am when you have 5 customers standing outside in the cold. Why not invite them in to sit on the couch inside? The Service Team are inside laughing and messing around. No respect for the customers that pay their wages. I escalated to the Sales Manager - Still waiting for a phone call from the service manager 2 weeks later.
For a dealership that is under renovation and doesnt feel very inviting I would suggest management coach the staff to care about the customer experience. Why burn a good customer?
