Having not eaten out for 6 months I was hoping for a really tasty experience. I was not disappointed. We had 7 items from the tapas menu as we were pretty hungry and every single mouthful was a delight. Lovely atmosphere and fantastic service made this one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Book now. You won’t be disappointed.

Best place for tapas in Ballarat. Best way to do it is get a few different ones to share amongst the table. My personal favourite is the lamb skewers. So full of flavour!

Ate here about a month ago when visiting Ballarat with friends - I haven't stopped thinking about it.
Absolutely the best food I have had in a long time. We had the 'Feed Me' Menu and jugs of Sangria.
We didn't have a single dish come out that we didn't absolutely love!
The team were lovely and we loved the music too.

This food is so delicious. We ordered the Patatas Bravas, Lomo en Adobo and Pincho Moruno. It was really delicious and the customer service was also very good. They gave us lots of bread

Love it every single time! The staff, food and vibes are just fantastic! Will definitely bring more friends in for the experience! If you are unsure of what to get, I recommend gatting the "Feed Me" option. You'll never go wrong! Make sure you have grappa as digestif. Until next time!

Traditional Spanish tapas bar and restaurant.
We believe this is place to be. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and memories from Spain did come.
On a suggestion there is the Feed Me option, chef's choice of tapas for that night. When ypu have enough you supposed to tell waitress, otherwise the chef will keep sending foods. Although this was fantastic value and having been here before, we have choosed view different tapas instead. We are glad and thankful to our dear friends who did book this restaurant again.
There is good drinks and wine list.
El Circo wine was our choice. Nice wine from Carinena, Spain. Organic wine with delicious blubery and cheery taste. Friend did choose Tula Verona white wine.

All dishes
-Pimientos Fritos
- Eggplant and mashroom
- Lomo an Adobo
- Chorizo al vino
- Sardinas a la Plancha
- Gambas al Pil Pil
- Bread served with it
were very tasty and yummy.

I am sure we shall come back to friendly Hose and his staff  when we are in Ballarat again.

One of my most favourite restaurants in Ballarat. All the staff are fabulous and I always feel so welcomed and the food is unbelievable. Best Paella outside of Spain!

They must have changed chefs since I was last here. The food is now perfectly seasoned and no longer over-salted. Perfect!

Heard good things about this place, and was not disappointed. We had the $65pp "Feed me" set, there were 3 entrees, 6 tapas and 1 desert to share. We couldn't finish all the food. Staff were very friendly, food taste great and authentic, and restaurant even had very nice décor, nice spot taking touristy photos.

Came here twice. First time was a couple of years back and last time was about a month ago. Our first time was great: food, service etc. Second time wasn't as great. We didn't enjoyed our food as much although service was still great. We will still give another go if we head to Ballarat again.

Really amazing restaurant. Went here with my partner (who's from Spain) and they serve excellent quality and truly authentic spanish tapas. The staff were very friendly and the vibe was perfecto. Couldn't rate this place higher. Will definitely be back next time we're in Ballarat!

Stopped by Ballarat for lunch and tried Meigas. Brought back fond memories of my Spain trip - food and ambience was great, with Latin music in the background.

Had the ham croquettes, gambas al pil pil (prawn with garlic, chilli and olive oil) and bocadillos calamares fritos (fried calamari baguette with rocket leaves and aioli). Finished off with freshly made churros with chocolate dipping sauce. Yum!

Will love to come back and try other tapas and paella (min 2pax and takes up to 45min to make freshly).

A tiny but inspiringly delicious morsel of Northern Spain in the middle of Australian South. Such a hidden gem to be discovered only by accident and only in the best of companies. Outstanding tapas. And if you're thirsty and can't make it to Asturias, ask for the one drink that will properly quench your thirst.
