This is our go to dinner out in Ballarat. The place we take our visitors and recommend to anyone visiting. Service is always great (even when the restaurant is packed), very well priced and the food is always wonderful. Thanks so much Meigas team.

Great food and drink, very nice an experience to be shared with friends, family or even on one's own. Some excellent service as well, so often it's the missing ingredient, but not in this case, much respect to your staff.

Yes, yes, 100 times, yes! Wow, what a fantastic foodie experience. The food was SO delicious, order "feed me" from their menu, you will NOT be disappointed, every course was just the right portion, and the dishes kept coming out tastier than the last! Definitely a place to go if you want to impress someone or many! Highly recommend and will be back with friends. Note they book out fast, best to book a table as early as you can.

A trip from Melbourne just to eat here again for our anniversary. Our first trip here was a few years ago & it was exceptional. This time round, we weren't as impressed. Although the food was nice, it just didn't have that extra zing like the last time.

Definitely the best Spanish cuisine I've tried in Australia so far. Great prawns and pulpo!

We visiting Meigas on Friday for lunch & discovered a Spanish enclave in the heart of Ballarat. What a great rustic eatery decked out with all the timmings of a Spanish tapas bar. The food was OK (the calamari was dry & a little chewy. Perhaps they could marinate the fish in milk for an hour or 2 like they do @ Remy's in Melbourne?). All other dishes were great and we had great service from all the staff. Brian Clark

Attitude given at the door, empty restaurant but they asking if you have a booking, like it matters, and the menu.the first restaurant in my life I could not choose anything from the list, left in 2 minutes

Amazing tapas style food. Lovely location and music playing, service was top notch and we had amazing servers who were so helpful. The food is out of this world and I would go here again and again.

A piece of Spain in a very unexpected place! Super delicious food. Beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Very artistic approach to decorating the dining space. Everything in the restaurant has a story and a reason behind it! It was a pleasure for my stomach and for my eyes!

We’ve visited a lot of Spanish restaurant (in Spain) and this was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Really good service too from a young girl and the man with a ponytail

We came from Geelong to visit Ballarat. Entered the restaurant and was greeted by amazing wait staff. She was enthusiastic and recommended some really good food. The chimichurri was absolutely fantastic. It's the best chimichurri I've had so far. Since I loved it so much, the cook/chef from the kitchen saw me enjoying it and gave me an additional chimichurri. Loved the experience and the food. Will come again when we visit Ballarat.

Paella is a must try. Please call in advance if you want to have the paella, otherwise there will be a 45 min wait to get to eat the yummy paella. The tapas are good too, but the paella stole the show. Music is a little bit too loud. Service staff were attentive

Excellent food, great service, generous portions, nice ambiance with heaps of authentic vintage artefacts. We booked for a large group, arrived 1h earlier but were sited and served fast. Highly recommend!

Always an indulgent experience here. Food and wine to make your soul happy. Really good atmosphere and certainly hotly contended. Bookings are always required during the weekends unless you want to eat late. My favourite Ballarat restaurant.

Good food and plenty of drink options. Slightly too oily for me (but likely not for most people). Friendly staff.

There are not many authentic Spanish restaurants, but this is one of the very few in Victoria. Food and drinks were amazing, so it was the customer service. It can be bit pricey, but it's worth it

I will definitely go back next time that I am in Ballarat. Totally recommended!

Great Spanish restaurant with a great menu. A bunch of us chose the feed me option which was outstanding.

I want to thank the the amazing staff, especially the blonde guy and the lady in the pink skirt (apologies, did not know names). The banter was on point, and so was the service.

Thank the chef's for the amazing spread and vegetarian availabilities.

Definitely will come back when I'm down from Brissy again.
