Humble traditional tavern with beautiful food. Celebrated out mothers 75th birthday and nothing was too much for the staff. Plenty of food for everyone with the standout being the seafood.

What a lovely Authentic Greek Cuisine hidden treasure. We felt like we visited a majestic Greek Island. The blue and white rustic ambience and food is to die for; so freshly cooked, clean, abundant and delicious. The owners Angelo and Effie are so welcoming and warm, the kind you meet once that make you feel so hospitable like they've known you forever. And they make sure your bellies are completely full! A truly wonderful and cost effective Greek experience not to be missed.

We have tried a number of the Greek tavern around Melbourne…however we were recommended by friends that we must try the Mediterranean tavern…
What we got was a genuine surprise of traditional Greek hospitality and food… plenty of food to feed our group nut also quality fish and meat…We greeks can be extremely fussy when it comes to others cooking Greek food for us but everyone on our table left with a great experience and vowing to return again:

My partner and I have been a several times over the past 2 years. We always enjoy the REAL food at the Tavern. Great servings of honest, delicious, Greek food at very realistic prices. Lamb, chicken, fish and more all cooked and spiced to die for. Set menu is fantastic and staff are helpful and polite. All round a memorable experience every time. 5 stars!

What a great night. Loved the zorba music playing in the background.
We were welcomed by the owner who had a beaming smile.
Our group of 14 were seated in a spacious table. One of my pet hates is when restaurants squeeze you in to a table.
We opted for the major banquet and at $50 per person what a deal.
Enough food for everyone and the quality just superb.
In all just a great night with a lovely atmosphere.
