Went their for the first time last night as I'm new to the area, not only was the food some of the best I've ever had, but the service and way we got looked after was exceptional. Had the meat platter for 2, and portions size were large that me and my work friend the next day only just finished the leftovers for lunch. From tasting only the leftovers, my work friend now can't wait to go there properly. A beautiful place all around

Just a beautiful traditional taste of authentic Greek food. Staff were super friendly and made us feel part of the family. Food is just quality with fresh pieces of fish and tender lamb cutlets.

Sensational meal tonight. Perry is a wonderful host always. Great atmosphere. Beautiful fresh food. The mix souvlaki was delicious and the dessert topped off a great meal all round! Will be back soon!

Came here for a family event. Everyone ordered the set menu. Serving sizes were a joke. Food was cold and flavorless. Honestly so disappointed. Waiter kept dropping things and didn't pick it up also and dropped a knife on my grandmother. Would not recommend.

What an amazing night of food, Greek dancing and music. Our group was here on Sunday 21 st April part of the live music night. Fantastic atmosphere and with everyone in the tavern dancing.
There wasn't a spare seat and people appreciated the great show put on. The food as always just impeccable.

Loved the food, the layout and the hosts. Looked to be a family bussiness. Loved the fresh bread and the dips. Some say its a bit expensive but for us it wasnt bad. The mixed platter was great, seafood and meat. Tge pkrtion was very generouse the portion of the food was way more than what we expected

Very good food. Had meat and seafood platters, bbq calamari, Greek salads and Greek pino merlot blend. All good. The host made the evening exceptional.

Taxi driver told us this was the best Greek food in Melbourne.
We settled for the deluxe banquet which was just amazing.
Plenty of quality food with the barramundi and meat with a wow factor.
Good hospitality by a lovely family that made us feel right at home

The seafood platter ($68) for two was very confusing.
Two oysters, bit shorts in quantity to please my taste. One oyster each is not enough.
Three prawns for two, I give too my Lady the third one.
And deeply too generous three serves of salmon, nicely cooked.
At the end, very disappointing

Its a great place to enjoy the Greek food or deeps the only thing missing is the Greek music in the background & i think it will make it a greater place.

We’re at th Mediterranean tavern for Father’s Day. Full of people with quality food. Loved the octopus, fried zucchini, seafood was just out of this world. First time here but have already booked for my birthday

Walking in brought back memories of our travel to Greece last year. Beautiful selection of photos on the wall tells a great story about the family that’s own this tavern.
Quality food and service to match. Blue eye fillet and lamb souvlaki extremely tasty.
As we were leaving chef came out to ask how our meal was something I have never experienced before.
Will be back as want to try the moussaka next time.

We went for dinner with another couple. As soon as we arrived Perry warmly greeted us and made sure we were comfortable at our table. Food was promptly served. The meat platter was perfectly grilled and the fish platter was soft and suculant.
The greek salad was fresh and crisp. Perry personally attended to us throughout our meal. We enjoyed the "Greek" atmosphere and personalised service. Will return again.

Classic Greek food. Fish, lamb and chicken seasoned perfectly. There was lttle wait for the food (which helps with hangry kids) and the staff are very friendly. Overall, I was impressed and look forward to trying something different on the menu soon.

First time on Saturday with a large group. We had a mixture of set menu plus of the menu. Extremmely accomodating with the kids meals.
