Mediterranean Greek Tavern

My Husband & I have had dinner a few times at the Greek Tavern. Firstly, the owner is extremely friendly, humbled & genuinely cares about his customers. The prices are reasonable, the food is served fresh and in great quality & quantities. The father of the owner is a great chef as well. A great example of how should a business/family business should operate. We will definitely be back again and recommend our friends about your place. Overall a genuine 10 out 10 experience. Had one of the best souvlaki we have ever had. It was delicious. The service was outstanding, you really feel like you are in a home kitchen, their hospitality is amazing, I cannot recommend this Greek restaurant enough.
Next time we are in Melbourne will definitely be back. We would give it a 10 star rating if we could.

Gyros lamb and chicken plate that comes with chips, bread, lettuce and tzatziki. The tzatziki here is very good

The food here is authentic, fresh and wonderfully tasty. The ambience and decor takes you right to the sunny Greek islands, and the service brings you a smile. Have been here numerous times and will keep coming back.

Food, was good as always. But we were over-serviced. We really felt rushed tonight as they wanted our table in a hurry. The bill was on the table before we had finished eating. Won't be back.

We all had a wonderful time at the Mediterranean Greek Tavern. The host Perry is very easy to deal with and very accommodating. The team of staff are very friendly and very helpful too. The food is scrumptious and delicious and the servings size are very generous. We felt very welcomed and can't thank them enough for making our celebration very special. Highly recommend this wonderful warm and friendly family establishment.

Wow. What amazing food! And real food not processed or fast. Fresh food and just simply delish. We had the family meal and it was great. Too busy eating to take pics. We couldn't finish the food as there was so much. Tahlene who served us and looked after us was amazing. She is a delight to talk to and was especially gentle when interacting with our little daughters. Will definetely come again

Thank you for your wonderful services last night as our large family celebrated the 90th birthday of our uncle. Kefi, great authentic food, fresh and tasty, music to get the dance floor shaking and fantastic service.

I am so glad we found this amazing restaurant as it is now a firm favourite after just one night. The food is incredible, the music and dancing was so much fun and the staff are all so welcoming and warm. I can’t wait to return!

We had the most wonderful Saturday night at this amazing restaurant. Right from the start the staff we very attentive, helpful and cheerful. The food was the best Greek food I’ve ever eaten and the restaurant was lively and fun with the amazing band playing tunes all night. We ate delicious food, laughed, danced and drank - the best night I’ve had in such a long time. I can’t wait to return with so many of my friends and blow them away with how amazing this restaurant is. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

We had dinner here tonight to celebrate my husband’s Birthday. We all had such a great time. The service was terrific and the food delicious. We will definitely be back. Strongly recommend you give it a go.
