I’m sorry but a $100 appointment with $30 Medicare rebate is an absolute joke. Have no idea how that’s even allowed as a cost price.
Would avoid go somewhere that will charge you closer to $50-70 like most practices.

Do not go to this place. All they care about is getting fees from appointments and if you want records or prescription refills you will have to call them a dozen times. Also, when you book an appointment be prepared for them to be an hour late every time. I went for four years but eventually even the most patient person will be defeated by them.

The doctor i was booked in with was 25 min behind. Saw another who rushed the process. I was in and out in five minutes, when i was coming in for a brain injury. Terrible terrible clinic. All for profit. These are only doctors on paper, not in practice. Theyre there to abuse the title of doctor and exploit our pockets. Stay far far away. I wish they could be revoked of their licenses. Medical boards should be more active on holding their doctors accountable for their lack of accepted standards of competence

Dr Eduardo refused to provide medical treatment because his history-taking skills were insufficient to prevent inappropriate treatment from damaging his reputation.

Good:
- Clean and central city location
- Doctor with empathy, passion, understanding and professional attitude
^ Highly recommend Dr. Dejan Fiser

Soso:
- New staff making mistakes on payment and medicare rebate, but understandable as it's part of training process

To patients:
- Pharmacy within the clinic charges 2-3 times more than Chemist Warehouse, and has not-so-kind staff
^ Highly recommend you to walk a little to the nearest Chemist Warehouse to save a fortune

Their booking site allowed me to make a booking for 1: 40 on Sunday for a vaccination. I arrived at that time to find out they close at 1: 00. It's pretty annoying to plan a day around this, trusting that your booking system would line up with your opening hours.

Attended the clinic due to convenient location but the efficiency and handling of matters are very poor. Responsibilities were pushed around when i called to follow things up and what could have been done in a week took them 3 weeks to complete. Will not return unless absolutely necessary.

The worst service provided by the receptionist. I had an appointment at 12: 30PM, have been waiting since 40 mins and nobody knows when will I be called in. What's the point of having an appointment then?
The receptionist was rude and told me that I was yelling, which I wasn't. I asked her, if I can get an update she said NO. She didn't have any answers for which I had to cancel my meeting.
This was my second and LAST visit here. Will not recommend anyone yo schedule anything for at-least 2 hours post you "appointment" at Medical One because NO ONE knows anything here.

I made a 12: 30 appointment online to see a Dr about a few things of my concern.
I received a call at 09: 45 from Dr Catherine asking if I could come in sooner.
I offered to come in half an hour earlier at midday, to which she asked if I could be at the clinic in the next hour (10: 45), or hour and half (11: 15). I agreed and arrived at 11: 15 on the dot.
I waited until 12: 00 at which point I advised the receptionist that I came in 75 minutes earlier than I had booked based on Dr Catherine's request, to which I was advised the Dr had opened my files indicating I would be next.
Once in the room with Dr Catherine, I had one symptom looked at within 10 minutes, and as I was about to mention the next thing that was of my concern, the Dr advised me that I can have only one thing assessed during a standard consultation, and passed me a payment slip to take to the receptionist.
The receptionist I spoke to wasn't impolite like a lot of the other reviews mention, but I believe it's a different receptionist. Sabrina was her name from recollection.
For the $112.00 minus $56.00 Medicare cash back, I felt the consultation was extremely rushed, and not worth having driven into the city for the 10 minute visit.
I would feel better visiting a medical centre where the doctors appear to be interested in improving the patients' well-being.
I won't be going there again.

Katherine Streeton is my doctor and she is hands down the most dedicated GP I have ever had. She cares more then I though possible for a doctor and has gone above and beyond her duties more then once. She has done additional research after an appointment, called specialists and gotten second opinions to make sure she has done everything she can. She has called me after her working hours to make sure I'm ok after a procedure and 're written referrals when I haven't been able to get in with a specialist soon enough. She is the best doctor I have ever had, hands down.

Heavily recommend Dr. Argyropoulos, very knowledgeable and sincerely cares for his patients. Sometimes means spends more time with some patients, so he may run late occasionally, but it means you yourself won't feel rushed during your appointment.

As someone who lives with chronic health issues it is so convenient to be able to see a GP, use pathology services, and pick up a prescription all at the one location. I started visiting this GP when I lived near the city as a student because they were one of the only places to bulk bill for students (I hope they still do), and even though I'm no longer living near the city or a student I keep coming here. It is so easy to get a same day appointment as well.

No sense of customer service, bad booking system! Book appointments earlier for a time slot, sit there for hours and wait walk in people finish and leave and you still sit like a fool.

Medical One QV has served as my GP service for the last 13 years. In that time, I have found the reception staff to be generally helpful, polite and professional. Today I spoke with Pauline. As I only returned from an Orange coded area interstate, I called to clarify if my GP could offer a COVID test or refer me to a test service before I attend the appointment. I believed I was doing all the right things. Instead, of hearing me out, Pauline peremptorily told me that “I shouldn’t be wandering about when I have just returned from interstate”. How does she propose that I get a test without being out? She did not even give me the courtesy of explaining that we have done some researching and the nearest site was an indigenous healthcare facility not open to non-indigenous people. The RMH was open only to people with symptoms. Maybe she was having a bad day but she was patronizing, unhelpful and very unprofessional. Sadly, not a front of house person.

Dr Chris Argyropoulos is probably one of the nicest and most knowledgable GP's. I trust his judgement. Often runs a bit late, but that's because he never rushes any of his patients and will make sure that your issues are sorted to the best of his abilities.

I would have to describe Medical One as unethical.

I attended an appointment seeking a referral, plus I had another issue I wanted to discuss.during the appointment the doctor suggested tests for issues on top of the ones I saw her for.

At the end of the appointment I found I was charged as if each script or referral was a separate consultation.
I was close to $300 out of pocket.

Don't even consider Medical One as a last resort.

Honestly the best consultation I’ve ever had. Dr Anthony Turner was warm, friendly and amazingly knowledgeable. I have never before had such a great experience going to a clinic.
