Lovely experience in here today. Girls are so helpful, helped me colour match and pick out new product. Was the first time I've bought make up in ages so it was so nice to get that kind of customer service.

I've always had the best help from the staff working at Highpoint Mecca. They've always helped me find products that I love, and added many staples to my collection. One of favourite finds was the Rose Inc Dahlia blush.
The diversity of staff is such a special aspect of the store too.
I attended a make up lesson for one of my friends, and she got the most helpful advice on sun protection, skin care and natural clean make up for South Asian skin. I've learnt a lot about caring for my skin too. Thanks highpoint team

I honestly did not get what I paid for with my lesson. I asked for a natural look. My face ended up so cakey, and now I can't even achieve a natural looks with the products I was recommended no matter what I try. Seriously, it was so obvious I was wearing a ton of makeup you could have scraped it off with a palette knife. There was also no teaching. The website says you get to do half your face under instruction. My makeup artist forgot to offer to let me do anything until we were almost done. I specifically asked at the beginning of the lesson to be taught how to contour. But the makeup artist just did my foundation and contouring without saying anything. This was a while back, but I'm still mad I have a ton of makeup I can't use without looking like a cake face
The makeup artist was ridiculously friendly though so you get to keep a star for that.

I was very impressed with how knowledgeable the staff are. Their skincare consultant was very helpful, even making recommendations that had nothing to do with the products and services for sale at Mecca.

I love liquid eyeliner and was blown away by Urban Decay's new line. I've posted a photo; check out the shape! It allows for maximum control of your graphic liner, giving you sharp lines with killer pigment.

I'm almost converted from being an online only client, but it's just too tempting to shop in my PJs Though now I do see the value in visiting the store in person every now and then to properly appreciate their products. Not to mention take advantage of the expertise of their staff.

Ya’ll literally have the worst and most rude staff ever. Every time I’ve graced your store (all of three times) I’ve been treated with animosity and just off putting service. Like sorry you’re sold out of your products and forgive me for making the mistake of asking for a sample. I didn’t realize I was committing such a faux pas and putting such stress on the girl for doing her job! Idk if this is a problem in all stores or just this particular one? But whatever don’t care just going to buy online instead.

I had the pleasure of visiting Mecca today, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received, all thanks to the wonderful Shayla! Shayla greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile when I walked in. Her attentiveness to my needs left me feeling more confident and beautiful than ever. Shayla's professionalism and genuine care for customers are truly commendable. Thanks to Shayla's outstanding assistance, I'll be returning to Mecca for all my makeup needs.

Was advised by one of the staff members that if I spent $269 I would be eligible to collect my birthday gift that day only then to be told by a different staff member that I cannot redeem till the following day. I explained to them that I live two hours away from my closest Mecca and wouldn’t be back for another 6 months. They still refused to give me the birthday gift even though I spent over $269 that day. I contacted Mecca customer service who were just as unhelpful and wouldn’t take responsibility for their own staff members providing incorrect information in the first place. Horrible service, will not support Mecca anymore.

I booked in a glam make up application for a 21st birthday party I had. The Mecca staff were all so lovely from start to finish. Thank you to Tom for organising it all for me. Thank you to Matti for doing such an exceptional job on my makeup application, I got so many compliments. The staff were so professional and kind. Well done Mecca Highpoint

I've had nothing but amazing experiences here. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would.

I'm disabled, overweight with bad skin, and have always felt places like this aren't for people like me and was too scared to even enter for many years.
But I have only ever been shown respect and enthusiasm and I will not go anywhere else.

I came in with zero knowledge of make-up and received no scorn or judgement, just dedicated attention to colour match me with the right products and showing me some simple techniques to use them.

When I asked about trying one of the more expensive perfumes, they didn't hesitate to let me try it and didn't pressure me, encouraging me to smell it as it changed over time. At the end of my visit, I said I wanted to buy the smallest one available and that wasn't given judgement, but instead I was shown some great tips on how the small vial can be refilled and then used as a purse-sized one to avoid risking a larger bottle.

I have had so many negative experiences from other places that pass judgement on appearance and only being able to afford the cheaper options, and this place has never done that to me.

My self-confidence has grown so much as a result and I attribute so much of that to the encouragement and enthusiasm that the people here have given to me.
I cannot thank the staff here enough, or recommend this place more.

To the lady with the pink hair at the counter at highpoint today, I didn’t appreciate your lack of customer service or inability to greet me hello when I approached the counter. While the lady serving right next to you was super bubbly and asking her customers how they were / searching their files up I couldn’t even get a smile from you. I spent $115 in your store and saw a beautiful section where you have advertisers a complimentary gift wrapping. Since part of my purchase was a gift I asked if it could be wrapped! I got an eye shadow palette wrapped so bad it looks like a libra period pad. I have also taken photos of how you’ve wrapped it and was embarrassed to add it to my friends gift looking like that. I don’t know how Mecca teaches customer service skills but she certainly needs to go through another round of training! I’m not one to write a review in general and for me to have written one today just shows how appalled I was with your staff! I’m super disappointed as I’d never expect this from such a store.

Sarah is amazing. I came in for a lesson and she made me feel like we'd been friends for 6 months. She was so easy to talk to and had such a chill and friendly personality. She was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Prior to covid when you walked into Mecca you would be approached immediately by a staff member if they weren't helping anyone. Now days you can expect no service. Post covid I would wonder in walk around watch all the staff talking and doing their best to ignore you. Today after walking around to see if anyone would approach me to see if I needed help, no one did so I walked up to 3 employees at the front and asked about 2 brushes I was holding.pause for effect as one girl looked at me as if to say why are you interrupting the second immediately looked down as in if I don't make eye contact I won't need to work and the third read the room walked around miss I'm looking down to answer my questions. They were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. 1 star to that employee, who I didn't get a name, I will go back next week, get their name and give them 5 stars. Today they get 1 star and 4 no stars to every other employee doing as little as possible. Also for context there was one employee helping a lady with a make up consultant and about 6 customers in store with no other employees helping anyone. I was in store at 3.30pm if any managers wants to check the surveillance footage. I know this is the way of the world post covid and keeping employees is hard, it's sad that you expect no service and it's normal.

I love this place, coming from a 10 year old The staff are so caring and amazing. They help you with whatever you need and one staff member was absolutely so awesome. She helped me out when I was looking for help.

Yesterday I was helped by Grace at Highpoint. She listened to my concerns about my skin care, gave me lots of helpful advice, showed me a hide range of products, and was overall incredibly helpful and lovely!

Being a regular customer of Mecca, I am very disappointed not to get served by anyone at the store. Waited at least 20 minutes and knocked the door greeter but still no one came to help to find the product.
Had to leave the store without buying the items I was looking for.

Today I went in too have a look at a few things not expecting to buy anything but an amazing girl called Mya, helped me and recommended me some products, that will suit my skin as I find it really hard to match products. That make my skin look nice and feel confident wearing. She was so helpful and patient with me deciding what to try on.

There's a really lovely girl with short copper hair that helped us at this store. She provided such thorough skin care recommendations according to our skin concerns and went as far as to let us test her 3 recommendations despite it being quite busy in store. She knew the oil and water contents of each recommendation and how they help the skin barrier in different ways. Definitely hope to see her again for more recommendations.
