Marmara Restaurant reviews
80My partner and I got the classic banquet for two. Everything was very delicious we had to eat every bite! Will definitely return to try the rest of the menu.
Nice atmosphere (except for when they put on the disco lights suddenly) but the food (I had the vegetarian platter) was really bland with a lot of it taken up by a pile of unseasoned bulgur and a salad consisting of 90% iceberg lettuce.
A must go, awesome fresh food, I am vegetarian, lots of options, great prices. Wonderful service. My husband is a fussy eater and loves his meat and he left nothing on his plate, a good sign that he also loved the food. Highly recommend they get a 5 star from us
The food here is second to none - absolutely delicious! The ambience is gorgeous and customer service excellent. Already booked next time. Outstanding!
Best Turkish food in Melbourne. Have been coming for 20 years. Owners are a wonderful family cooking amazing food.
Good atmosphere, nice table in the window for people watching on chapel street. Food was great and staff very friendly, definitely will be back next time we're in Melbourne.
The food is authentic Middle Eastern and the clay pots were just amazing. Even better it's BYO so you can enjoy a great meal with whatever wine your heart desires!
Wonderful local Turkish restaurant
Very fresh food, very attentive staff, BYO wine a great advantage and a delicious meal
We have visited MARMARA many times and each time we start thinking about our next visit- it's that consistent
Mixed grill used to be a decent size portion, now it is just a small take away container of mostly rice. Very bad value.
This place is so cozy and the food quality is amazing. Mixed Grill is my favorite dish and it totally worth it. Staffs are so kind and friendly. I went there once to try and it eventually turned into my favorite place in chapels st. Highly recommended
Popped in here for a quick dinner before heading out. Had the mixed grill and the meat was tender and delicious. Absolutely mouth watering. Really enjoyed it.
Came here last night! Loved it, lamb and prawn skewers were delicious, definitely didn't leave hungry
Classic banquet ($40pp) was generous, amazing quality, tasty and tender! We were really impressed and would recommend to anyone!
Awesome food
Ordered the Claypot Lamb which was absolutely stunning and fork tender!
Prices are a bit on the higher side but you get your money’s worth!
We were accommodated at closing time.and cudos to Mike for great service and yummmmmm food. All the kebabs were juicy and tasty
We ordered the Special Banquet for two at Marmara and were truly happy with every dish. Well balanced meal, and beautiful flavours all round!
Proffsional service, Great food quality, Price is reasonable and the staff are very friendly.
Highly reccomend Marmara Windsor to anyone looking for new restaurants as it is the best food I have ever had in melbourne.
This is a regular haunt for my partner and I. Quality Turkish food - we've never been disappointed. Recommend the seafood claypot and the range of pides. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and it's a cosy retreat on Chapel Street. Book ahead on a weekend night, as the restaurant isn't large and is evidently popular with the local Turkish community.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was great, good portion size. A little pricey but was worth it
Delicious Delivered! Mouth watering wraps filled with noticable fresh crunchy cucumber, lettuce and onion dressed in a finger licking yogurt garlic sauce. Now marry that with tender skewered smokey flavoured lamb or chicken fillet tucked inside a soft skinned turkish bread. Finish off your taste bud vacation and wash that down with some turkish lemonade.
