The best place to try Turkish cuisine. Obviously the food was prepared with care. It was fresh and delicious. I felt like I’m in Istanbul.

Amazing mouth watering juicy cutlets I’ve ever had, perfect portions, very filling. Great cozy atmosphere with attentive waiters. Thumbs up for the new cocktail list.

Superb Turkish food. I have been a regular since 1990. Foreign friends and local friends love it. Tasty range of meals generously served by friendly staff. Unbeatable! (Ideal to dine here before a classic movie at the nearby Astor cinema).

Beautiful atmosphere and service. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Lovely dinner experience for a birthday celebration.

The food and service was amazing! All workers were very friendly and helpful, especially Tunca. They took great care of us from the moment we walked in. We went to celebrate my roommate's birthday and we were very pleased. I would definitely recommend Tunca's Turkish Coffee Martini.

By far the the best doner kebabs in Melbourne.and really good price. I sometimes get greedy and get 2. I've been coming here since the early 2000's.and there mixed grills are to die for and there rice puddings too. I'll always be a loyal customer to you guys.the staff are super nice too.top notch

I've been going here for 20 years and have always had great food and really friendly service. A great lock down take away choice, Their food travels well and always tastes just as good as in the restaurant.

Fairly boring. The meat is delicious but nothing else going on around it. No sides, barely a salad, rushed service and the incredibly archaic practice of charging a fee on EFTPOS. Certainly better Turkish and middle East options about.

Our second time at Marmara.
First time, we ordered ala carte and sat outside, just the two of us. The food was good and the service was excellent.
This time, we came with friends, sat inside and ordered the banquet. Definitely recommend it! Tons of great food, lots of variety, nicely paced and a good selection of drinks to go with it.

Rushing us to finish our meal just to give table to the next people waiting in line. Terrible service! And no apology from the waiter when we showed unhappy face! Food tasted just so so. Never go back again despite the high rating.

What brilliant food. Due to current events, we had to do takeaway, but once things are bad to normal, this is one of the first restaurants I'm going to eat at. The take away was splendid. Meat was magnificent and subtle but wonderful Turkish flavours in dips and seasoning are to die for. Will go there again for take away.

Loooove the food! Especially the lamb cutlets. Pretty, nice and cozy ambience. Great staff and will definitely go there again to try other food. Highly recommended place for the authentic turkish flavours.

I’ve been to Marmara on various occasions and I have to say the ambiance, food, drinks and service is outstanding. I highly recommend Marmara. Without any doubt they are the best Turkish Restaurant in Melbourne.

Amazing place, every option on the menu is outstanding. Decor is amazing and service is relatively quick to other restaurants like this. Been here multiple times and have never left disappointed.

What a fantastic Turkish restaurant coming from a Turkish critic as well, I’m very fussy eating at Turkish restaurants as I am Turkish myself and this place is fantastic in all aspects, can’t wait to go again!

We were in chapel st. Area looking for dinner and we saw this restaurant. The staff are friendly, food was amazing! We had chicken pide, lamb cutlets and the highlight was slow cook lamb, the best i’ve ever had. Will come back again.
