We dined at this restaurant last night and I must say the food was delicious. I have eaten at alot of turkish restaurants but this place is the best turkish restaurant by far. We had the special banquet and recommend it. The meat was very tasty and tender. The calamari was soft and tender the prawns were delicious. Everything was perfect and portions were good and filling. The staff were very friendly. The ambience and total atmosphere was perfect. I recommend you try it out because you wont be disappointed. I will be going back.

One of the best meals I've had in Melbourne. Amazing Turkish food and wine. I got the Special Banquet and there was so much food, it just kept coming! There was 8 of us, all ordered the special Banquet and they accommodated 2 of us that were Pescatarian. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Do yourself a favour, visit Marmara, order any banquet and lose yourself in food heaven!

10/10 Delicious Turkish food. We got the special banquet which is so reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. The prawns and calamari were some of the freshest and best cooked seafood I’ve ever had. The service was outstanding. Overall really nice vibe in there. I am so happy I came across this place, it’s my new favourite restaurant in Melbourne! Thank you for a great evening!

Great food.we had the banquet.the lamb and chicken skewers were amazing. Coupled with the ambience and great service, definitely a place to be and enjoy.

The place has nice atmosphere and the service was good but the food was the worst Middle Eastern food I’ve ever had. Dips tasted like yogurt so I couldn’t tell what’s what and the grill plater has shaved meat which is actually the cheapest type as it’s not actual meat- a mix of meat and animals organs minced and compressed. For the prices they charge I would expect much better quality of food than the one they claim it’s middle eastern.

The food was so delicious, by far the best meat I've eaten in Melbourne. The service was fantastic and the drinks were so nice and original. Highly recommended:)

We had a great experience at Marmara. We chose the feed me style sets. There was plenty of food and we all left with full bellies.

This was one of the best restaurants (actually probably the best restaurant) I’ve been to in Melbourne and definitely the best, and most authentic Turkish restaurant. Their serving sizes and value for money is absolutely worth it and foods were all delicious. The staff including the manager were very friendly especially Ben and Serder who made it a very pleasant experience. I don’t normally write reviews but this was well worth it - would highly recommend!

Amazing Amazing Amazing. No words can describe how polite, friendly and how extraordinary the service was from this restaurant. One of the best restaurants I have ever been too, with the most welcoming people, good customer service and fun vibes. The staffs including the manager (Ben & Serdar) have really made this an experience. Will definitely recommend this to everyone and 100% will return again. Best Turkish food in Melbourne!

We had Mixed dips, slow cooked lamb and chicken Skewers. Long wait for food however it was yummy

Delicious traditional Turkish dinner: spinach feta cheese spring rolls, vegetarian platter, slow-cooked lamb and chickpea claypot, Turkish bread, semolina salva with ice cream, and mastic pudding.

I feel bad because the owner was really nice. But the portion sizes are far too small for the price. I paid 75$ for my wife and I and we still needed to get a burger after to feel full

Amazing food, really good atmosphere, the waiter abby was really nice and super helpful, had a really lovely experience.

Let's say, I'm heading back again, and again and again. Highly recommend you try the Haloumi Salad (pics enclosed). Absolutely delicious! The mixed grill was perfection with a big appreciation on the lamp chop️️️️️️. Great service, cosy and you leave feeling like family.
