Market Lane Coffee reviews
77Ordered a cappuccino and noted they don’t offer soy option in case you wonder.they seemed to use medium roasted beans and a bit of sour aftertaste, on par with other great coffee shop
Amazing cup of flat white coffee. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great location for a quick coffee stop before carrying on with shopping the queen Victoria market.
Staff are super friendly, the place is very cute and it’s a good location but unfortunately the coffee is terrible and it’s one of the highest prices I’ve paid for such a small cup.
I tried both a latte and an iced coffee and was disappointed with both.
My partner took one sip and threw in the bin, much to my dismay of wasting $5.
Hopefully it was just a bad day as it was quite busy!
One of the best coffees we've had in Mel and is right near QVM. Flat white instils warmth and embraces you, but remains complex. The crema is flavourful and distinct from coffee, but complements each well. The perfect start to a chill day.
Amazing coffee… best coffee in Melbourne.and staff is also very friendly.will definitely visit them again.
Best coffee in CBD, if you love coffee and appreciate excellent customer service. Do yourself a favour and pay them a visit, like daily:) you won't regret it. Cheers
No longer good. Low quality! Expensive compare to shops sell organic coffee. A small cup of coffee is $5. Also staff are not friendly to dogs. Very disappointed. Highly NOT recommended!
Very good coffee.
There isn't a food menu. No sandwiches
Only croasson and small sweets.
Good service.
Honestly the worst cup of coffee I had in Melbourne! You pay $5 which is a lot of money and what you get is something that tastes like instant coffee. I have no idea why this place is so popular and have such good ratings, because rating it One star is quite generous already. Avoid!
Undoubtedly one of the best caffeine experiences I've had. The love and passion y'all put into making such amazing coffee will keep bringing me back for more. Keep up the great work!
I expected smooth flat white but to my preference it was burn. Maybe next time I tried my luck.
Very disappointing. The coffee was decent in taste but certainly overpriced.
And we had a cinnamon pastry for $6, it was so tiny, and they didn’t even bother warm it up, so it was cold and small.
Would not go again.
Lovely lady and nice interior coffee shop and great location near the market however price bit pricey
This is a 4 star place but compared to other market lane cafes, maybe 2. I am a regular across many of market lane cafes and have been to this one three times so far and every time the coffee has either been burnt or under extracted and milk a hit and miss. It doesn't compare to Prahran, South Melbourne or even the other shop inside deli I'm Vic market.
Great coffee. They have nice fresh beans for sale if you want to bring some home. Try the coffee spritz, it's a great way to enjoy a coffee on a hot day.
Good location, small cafe, clean and there's some tables outside although it can be full quickly, staff was friendly, quick service. I was very happy.
Very pricey, we were second to order before they started to get busy but our coffees took the same amount of time as the end of the queue’s did. Not sure what their system is for orders but didn’t really make sense
I should say one of the most decent coffee shop in the heart of Melbourne CBD. Their coffee is of high quality, with their cute little shop that hopefully still exist. I remembered drinking their coffee at 3PM and can't sleep that night hahahaha. If you are looking for a quality coffee in Melbourne, this is definitely one of the places you should visit!
Consistently good coffee that is worth the wait at busy times. There is a great selection of beans for home, pour over coffees and the obligatory espresso. And of course, it goes down beautifully with a QV hot jam don't!
Lovely service and rustic interior. Ordered an iced latte on a hot sunny day. Relatively pricier than other roastery cafes. Forgot to ask for sugar which may have affected our experience.
Iced latte (3/5) : very creamy and smooth, however had a weird saltiness and lacked its natural sweetness. I believe the coffee beans may have been under-extracted, leaving a sour acidity that hit quickly and dies down. First time experiencing it but heard their hot coffee options are better.
