Man Tong Kitchen

Food was bland and sauces were watery. We were a table of 4 and the meals didn't even come out all at once. By the time I got my meal, the others had finished theirs. Quite unacceptable given that the restaurant was not even busy. The Satay chicken had little to no taste. Will not be returning.

Basically there is nothing you can call manner or service in this restaurant. Food was good though. I feel sorry for the chefs that their quality of food is ruined by the disgusting level of service.

Had the banquet b and the food was terrible. Everything tasted the same, food was dry. Worst Chinese I have ever had. Left pretty much most of every meal. On a positive side they kept the glass full and I did not get sick that’s the only positive. Do not go. Go to the food court the dishes are so much better.

Waited 2 hours for food.
Ended up walking out.
Have been there several times before, tonight was a special occasion for my birthday.
Very Disappointed
We won't be recommending or going here any more.

Doesn't even deserve 1*. The service was horrible. One of our group asked for water and only 1 person got the water in a group. The waiting staff has no Courtesy whatsoever. They don't even wait for you to finish your food/ drink/ water and drag away the plates as if people were going to steal them away. If you value ur cutlery so much, keep it in your showcase and don't run the restaurant. The taste of food was terrible and the ambience was abysmal. Horrible experience and would have expected more from a restaurant in such a posh Location. Never going back again

Don’t go here if your a vegan. Asked for a tofu dish vegan if possible. Had to specify no egg, fish sauce etc.no vegan options on the menu and I got just a plate of tofu. Quite embarrassing for this to be placed in front of me

Food is great most of the time, service is average. They are very busy on the weekends.
They have a very big menu with lots of different dishes. Costly but worth it

Flavourful dishes, great serving sizes and service was prompt as well! All made for an enjoyable dinner.

Nice food, over priced for what it is. The main issue is the service staff. Their lack of understanding of their own menu is quite high. Our waiter Mark struggled to get our order correct. While we waited for our food we could only imagine how many thing he got incorrectly. To our surprise only 1 item was incorrect.

He (Mark) also failed to help one of our friends on the night when we requested to change tables due to the air-conditioning being too cold and told us he couldn't move us. Mind you there were at least 15 tables free yet he couldn't muster up the energy to help us out. These tables, didn't fill up while we were there.

This isn't the service we expect when we dine at Crown and we hope Crown picks up the slack of their restaurants.
This'll be the last time we dine here.

Not a good experience at all: Service, Food, Seating and Overpriced. With so many other food choices in the area, just go somewhere else. No stars at all. But I had to choose one.

We went here for dinner as the other restaurant we had wanted to try was closed. Ordered dumplings, two mains and fried rice. Food was edible but overpriced. Service was OK, perhaps a bit better than average for a Chinese restaurant.

I don't think we'll be going back. The rating of 3.1 is probably on the money.

This is not real Chinese food. To all the people want to try good Chinese food, don’t come here, the food here is over priced and taste horrible

Highly recommend the Stewed Lamb Tenderloin in Ceramic Pot. Probably the best in Melbourne. Very authentic. Nice decoration, very friendly staff, can be busy at dinner time so better make a reservation first. More affordable than other restaurants in the building.

If i can give a zero i would, seriously don’t waste your money on this place. Food was way over priced, dishes were lukewarm and tasteless.

Beautiful surrounds at the Man Tong Kitchen restaurant. Most of the dishes we had were delicious. The pork and beef dishes part of the banquet were great but unfortunately the san choy bau was not so full of flavour. The dumplings were quite good. The impressive thing was the very extensive wine list and huge (I mean seriously huge) menu.

This is one of my dad's favorite places to eat. Good food, Good service. Food can be a bit overpriced for what you are getting but oveall good

One of our favourite Chinese restaurants. Love the food, but quality of service is inconsistent.

Nice chinese restaurant, we had lunch and tried dumpling and duck. They were both excellent. The service should improve a bit.

Great food and service however a little overpriced but what do you expect at Crown. Interior and seating was very nice.
