It’s always great to be at Lona’s! The atmosphere is amazing and so are the drinks and food (especially the prosciutto pizza)
Staff is more than friendly and a great laugh, cheers to May and Tom!
One of my fav local bars, 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!

Best bar in st kilda! The vibes are unreal, and so are the staff. Shout out to Kate & Jack for looking after us and providing the best service in town. 10/10 rating!

1 star only. Went for dinner and cousin. Get any service. Ordered through the app and had to ask for the drinks we ordered every-time after waiting over half an hour got told “the ticket got lost” but had ordered on the app. The the next 2 rounds we had to ask for every time. Also ordered and paid for a ssauce with dinner when it got delivered mentioned it never came and the waitress said she would get it then never came back but walked straight past the table multiple times. Finally another waitress came after the food was already cold and was able to get the sauce.
Terrible service would honestly not go back after that experience. I understand busy but what’s the point in an app to order then claiming tickets got lost?

Had to wait 45 minutes for a drink and they asked for proof of payment after asking for the second time. No good

The chicken wings were dry and very burnt.
I bao bum pork was juicy when you bite into it, not the good kind of juicy ness the meat should have.nachos looked like they where just thrown onto a plate and had all different types of toppings on one side of the plate and now spreader out evenly. The chicken tacos were amazing and well presented. Service was great from the guys, they were talking and getting into it but the girls were very shy and awkward. I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless maybe for a drink.

Jackson and Kate, probably one of the most genuine bar tenders I've met in Melbourne, the craziest thing is they aren't even from Australia. They create a scene, they contribute to a vibration that continuely draws me back here as a Melbourne. 10/10 stars if I could

Nice place. Food & drinks were good. Club sandwich was a bit plain & cold though. Seemed strange they had live music that was loud during early dinner but not after.
Made an early booking for 5: 30 as we were going to a show at the palais. Table was set for 3, not 4.
Only ordered small share/entree dishes. Spent over $200 on food & drinks. Food took over 45min and did not come until I asked about it as we had to leave soon for the theater and was told “it’s about to come out now” which was another 10-15min after they obviously then made it because we had asked.
People were also smoking in the outdoor dining area with and nearby of food. When we mentioned this to the venue they told us they were “allowed if not within 10m of food” which is incorrect in Vic law and should be banned entirely during food service within the dining area. And regardless, they were smoking around people eating food.

Don't be misled by the 4+ rating.

Service and food are both poor.

We were having issues with ordering through the app so got the attention of a waitress. We said we'd just like to order something but before we even got the words out she said 'just use the app'. When we explained we were having problems with it, she told us she had "no means by which to take our order. " Not sure why she couldn't just listen to what we wanted and then walk herself over to the bar and put it through because that's exactly what she made me do.

Was here 5 days ago. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service, ordinary food (burger slightly overcooked and a little tough, overloaded with onions and pickles), normal pub prices. Would visit again but just for drinks.

Unless you're after a party night, don't try to go here on a weekend in the evening. It's loud and crowded with drunk people - definitely more of a club vibe than a restaurant, at least at night. If you are after a party night then this will probably be your jam.

Excellent service from Feranc, I definitely recommend this place to have either a nice dinner or a fun time.

Great service, cute set up, cocktails were delicious! If you’re on the hunt for a quality espresso martini this is the place. Reasonably priced too. Left a great impression, I'll definitely be back.

Best cocktails ever white chocolate passionfruit martini was so good! Really enjoyed the food and there was a nice selection.
