Leonda By The Yarra

I had my wedding at Leonda in March and I couldn’t fault it. Amazing food and service. But it was really all brought together by my wedding coordinator Courtney. She was so helpful and patient with all the little details. Definitely recommend!

Great venue with good staff. Management was good the other staff could have been a bit friendlier but overall a good experience. Place is neat tidy and good food too. Especially the deserts.

Was there for a memorial and wake. So maybe not the best time to judge. The drink & food was well done and good. Staff coped well with the larger than prepared for numbers attending.

Went here for a work Awards night and the ambiance and staff were great. The food was tasty but came to our table last and was no longer warm.
Great venue.

I attended a corporate function at Leonda and found it to be great. The room felt very big for the numbers however that is not always the venue decision. The foyer is a good space and I love the large bar. Bathrooms are beautiful and have great lighting which is rare these days. The food was really wonderful, all served hot and we'll presented with plenty of sides as well. Love the new donut wall for dessert, great idea.

Good place for wedding reception. Good location. With ample parking. Good view by the Yarra. Went there for a wedding. Service people are trained but need more wait staff.

My wife and I had our wedding reception of 120 guests at Leonda by the Yarra in the garden room. From the very first moment we walked in the staff were super friendly and committed to making our dream wedding come to life.

We had multiple event co-ordinators due to unforseen issues with the company such as staff leaving, however each time a replacement was promptly provided for us and each one was highly qualified and ready at the drop off the hat to answer any questions and help out in any way they could. Our main co-ordinator Courtney in particular really put us at ease through the stressful last 3months prior to the big day. She was on top of everything and made the planning incredibly easy. I don't know how we would have done it without her.

A word on the food. Simply put it was amazing. Many of our guests commented that it was the highlight of the night and many of our suppliers mentioned that they love working at the venue due to the friendliness of staff and incredible menu on offer.

The garden room was the perfect size for our 120 guests. The interior is modern and even with a full house offers a generous dancefloor space. The best part however is the connection to the outdoors with the room extending out onto the deck with panoramic views of the yarra river. I'll never forget the amazing sparkler sendoff down the jetty and onto the boat which Leonda had organised for us.

All in all, just like to say thankyou to all the staff at Leonda by the Yarra, in particular Courtney and a
ll the people on the day that made our night so special.

Not enough car parking space, for the venue size. Needed to park off-site and pay for an Uber. Lots of cars driving in circles around the venue, and ticket inspectors don't seem to sleep and issue fines at odd parts of the day

We attended a very large high school function and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food considering the amount of meals they had to provide. Bar prices could have been a bit less as the meals were quire expensive. Not sure if any of the meal cost went toward the school

The food was excellent, much better than previous years I have been there. The room and associated facilities were clean and well presented. The views over the Yarra are quite pleasant too.

Such a great function room, nestled by the Yarra. Food was amazing and the staff were so accommodating in my last minute change to the vegetarian option. Beautiful view and highly recommend if you have the $$$.

Beautiful reception, bride and groom where the only things to surpass the scenery and interior decor of the ball room. They even left on a boat on the private dock beside the Yarra. Food was good and everything went by without a hitch.

Just had our work Christmas party here. It is a beautiful location right on the banks of the Yarra. The facilities were great, easily accessible including wheelchair access. We had over 120 guests and fit into the function room easily. The meals were delicious, the waiting & bar staff were attentive and very professional. In all everyone had a great night!
