Leonda By The Yarra

If you are currently on the search for an inner city events venue that offers an incredibly stylish and elegant atmosphere then look no further than Leonda By The Yarra. I have been lucky enough to provide my Photobooth services on many occassions and enjoy each and every visit. I always look forward to returning to this venue!

Terrible, don't book with leonda by the Yarra, I booked with them last year for my sons
first birthday and the event was due to happen this year although coronavirus happened and my son's first birthday has past and leonda refuse to refund me my $2000, stating the money has kept the business a float and kept there staff in a job and paid there bills, I have bills and a mortgage and a family to feed but clearly leonda arent concerned about that there only concerned about filling there pockets, they protray they are all about the customer although it's about filling and lining there pockets.

There hasn't been numerous conversations between leonda and myself as leonda hasnt even bothered to pick up the phone and call me to have a conversation, I have asked Ashley a question which I haven't had a response to as yet just so your aware and furthermore I will never ever recommend leonda by the Yarra to anyone.

Worst experience ever, don't waste your money.

Exceptional service. We had our wedding ceremony in the outdoor courtyard, followed by the reception in the main room. Great venue that has open space, bright and clean. The staff are so professional. Would recommend to anyone planning their wedding.

It is truly impressive and is one of a kind allowing for a very memorable special event. I have provided with my DJ / MC Services at this venue on multiple occassions and always look forward to returning!

One of the greatest places to go jacking and walking with the beloved nature and good for cycling too

Some of the most professional and attentive team members I’ve ever had the luxury of being served by. The room is spaciousness beautifully lit, the entertainment space offers a great place to both eat and enjoy live music. The bar is equipped to handle enormous groups and the entrance to the venue really sets the tone for a great evening.

Presentation was excellent, very little to complain about. Just to point out the dessert could have been a bit better or 'proper'.

Jointed a high school graduation ceremony dinner here, remarkable scenes, delicious food, great service!

We highly recommend Leonda by the Yarra in Hawthorn. Celeste Smith was great to work with, easy going, insightful, and very efficient. We had a last minute change, as we had an issue with our church and had to find a ceremony space very quickly, Celeste sent us all the information for the ceremony space at Leonda, and just like that our problem was solved. Our ceremony went off without a hitch, we were blessed with a beautiful sunny Melbourne day, and the timing of everything was perfect. All the guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the food was and that there was plenty of it! We had a couple of personal contacts for flowers and DJ etc all who commented that everyone at the venue was so easy to work with. The whole day and night went perfectly for us, and we were able to enjoy without having to worry about a thing! I knew we were in good hands with Celeste being our wedding coordinator. It’s about the little things, which were all evident, right to the end where we left by boat and we were pleasantly surprised to find along with our luggage was a bottle of champagne and nice box of bread sticks, proccuito, cheese and fruit, so we could have a late night snack back in our hotel room. Thankyou Celeste and everyone else at Leonda by the Yarra in Hawthorn for giving us, our family and friends a day and night to remember!

Was the celebrant for a wedding here and it was fantastically run by the venue manager, on top of being a lovely venue with some very unique selling points due to its riverside location (water taxi back to the city!)

Too expensive only available to those who are willing to sell their liver on the black market or have a sugar daddy on hand!

I held a work function here, and it was my most successful to date. The staff worked tirelessly to impress and the venue looked exquisite on the evening.

We recently had our wedding at Leonda and were absolutely delighted with the job they did. Very well-run, helpful and made things simple and easy. The food was excellent and every effort was made to cater for dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble! Thank you for all your help, Celeste!

It’s always an honour to chauffeur our brides and grooms to the beautiful Leonda by the Yarra in our Mustangs. It’s a stunning and elegant venue set in a prime location on the banks of the Yarra, and is always chosen as a reception venue by those with impeccable taste. We highly recommend Leonda by the Yarra to anyone wishing to hold their reception or special function there.

Great function room! Very spacious. Ideal for a wedding or a milestone birthday party for around 200 - 250 guests. Conveniently located too.

Beautiful reception, sister had a wedding there. The staff helped make sure everything was in place. Caters 200plus people. You can hire a boat and exit from this location.

Came here for a remembrance service. Fantastic location. Great position on the river. Nice indoor and outdoor spaces. Great function room. Everything went well. Things were well set up. The service went off really well. Catering was excellent too. Staff great as well. Couldn’t fault it.

Very professional function centre, beautifully presented, nice food, easy to access, good parking, nice view over the Yarra, transport and busses out the front a d easy access to freeway.

An old Melbourne favorite

I had my school formal here. I was a really fun night. One issue is the lack of a ramp inside the venue, so it is not fully accessible for people with wheelchairs, etc.

Amazing venue! Celebrated my brother's wedding here and it was so stylish, beautiful and elegant. The service on the night was professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings!
