Laurent Bakery Doncaster Westfield Shopping Centre reviews
74 Table service is shocking! Takes forever to get a table cleaned between orders. Very disappointed.
Food is fine.
Just purchase two coffee and it was tasteless, it felt like i was drinking water and milk
Not recommending it
Coffee was served too late. It was spilt, watery, and with an ashy taste to it. I'm utterly unimpressed.
Have only visited once, but will not be back. The staff were dismissive and took a long time to get service, despite no other customers waiting. The cakes themselves tasted quite nice but were on the pricey side.
Ordered a latte, coffee was too weak and luke warm, taste like milk. No visible menu or prices displayed on cakes, so prices are sky high and very average. Could not recommend this place.
The staff is so unfriendly and the service is not good. I bought a cake and I gave it to a white box with no handles. No matter how delicious it is, I will not go to such a service.
Happy to try this new desert as advertised on my table - but what I got was not quite the same as depicted in picture (picture much larger than reality, fruits on the plate etc.)
Terrible coffee. Sent back - still terrible. No flavour. Leaking roof at service area when could have been moved. Food awful
This place is always packed. The decor, ambience and the seating is great. Food is good. Service is good. The price is a bit high and unreasonable. So even if you have a simple latte and a danish for 2 people would come around $40-45. And this is when there variety in bfast dishes are limited but yes for cakes, macaroons and desserts they are great.
So when i compare them to brunetti or infact any other good cafe they are pricey with limited choice.
3 stars.
One of the worst service I’ve ever experienced! My coffee came as spilt on the saucer. The waitress didn’t apologise saying it came as it was. I asked for some napkins to wipe the spilt coffee but she refused saying you should go inside to grap the napkins by yourself as the most people do. What kind of customer service is it? They made a mess and didn’t want to help clean it. I won’t come back.
So fancy yet so low quality. We took a coffee and a milkshake. The coffee was bitter and tasted like it had been ground two days ago, and the milk shake, was simply shaken milk, no taste and no colour. I am not going there again.
Was disappointed at the cleanliness of the place. Approached a staff member Alana about it, who just laughed and told me to calm down. Very unprofessional. Tables were wet, floor was filthy. Food particles and napkins on various seats. I would have expected a little more from an establishment in Doncaster.
Went with my wife to have a coffee on Thursday morning and it was a horrible experience. The coffee was weak and all you could taste was the milk. We are never coming here again.
It was Ok. Coffe and hot chocolate really nice and sweets as well. Very busy and the staff seemed a bit stressed, but trying to provide good service.
