Great coffee and amazingly prompt and friendly staff. If you are not already smiling after tasting your coffee or cake, you definatly will be smiling because of the atmosphere and friendly service. My favourite getaway in the shopping centre.

Staffed by friendly, professional and helpful staff who are always ready to meet customer requests despite how busy it gets. Located in an ideal area of the shopping complex with ambient surroundings.

I am a regular customer of Laurent Doncaster. I have actually been to a few others however Doncaster would have to be my favourite. As soon as I walk in, I am known by my name and my order without even speaking first. I feel at home and welcomed by the staff. My very young granddaughter absolutely loves your pastries and its one of the only places she would actually remain seated as it tastes that good.

Absolutely lovely atmosphere. Great coffee, sandwiches and sweets.

Dirty cutleries, cups, plates, there was a hair stand on the cake. Everything felt unsanitary, would not be coming back. Disappointed, as Laurent is reputable elsewhere.

I first went to Laurent Bakeries over 25 years ago for the coffee.pastries and breads which are all excellent, served by staff who smile while working hard. Doncaster store is now my 'local, but after 25 years of custom, I also admire the company's selection, development, and support of its staff. They find great people and they keep them. If only all employers had the same respect for their people!

Always a pleasure to be served by Alanna at the Doncaster store. She is so very friendly to all her guests, she takes the time to welcome each and everyone with her warmth and friendly smile. Alanna is an asset to Laurent, they are lucky to have such a wonderful staff member.

Great, friendly customer service by the guy who served me today. He was so cheery and accomodating. Was smashing the front of house duties, with a smile on his face. Customer after customer. Lovely shopping centre cafe with friendly & professional staff. Good coffee. Great selection & excellent quality of freshly filled focaccias & baguettes. Delicious assortment of cakes & sweet pastries. Highly recommended.

Waited 25 minutes for a cappuccino and an OJ. Other tables that came before us were served first with similar orders (two coffees, two coffee and cakes). Asked the waiter about our order and he continued to clean up tables for another 5 minutes before he went to check our order.
Also the same waiter wiped tables and threw crumbs on the chairs.
Hopefully the manager will take notice of this post and fix the issue.

I love this place! I have been going to Laurent since 2009. Their service has always been brilliant for me. I must admit, since the pandemic has started, this has been my preferred coffee place as the level of professionalism and service has always been there. Lifetime customer here:) thank you

The staff are always friendly and personable, and the service is always efficient. I have been back to visit several times because I always have a good experience here. Some of the wait staff even go above and beyond, which is refreshing. One offered to process a transaction for an additional item without making me line up again after I’d already sat down, whilst another had a bit of banter with me.

They have the most delicious pastries in
all Melbourne. I like their customer service and how clean they are. Very happy customer

We have been regular customers at Laurent Bakery in Doncaster for several years and never had a bad experience, coffee is always great, food delicious with great choices and always fresh. Service always fantastic, with Alana (manageress) and all of the team super friendly and efficient.
On occasions we do visit other Laurent Bakery’s, however for some reason the coffee always tastes better at Doncaster.
