Laser Pain Therapy

Dr Parmar successfully treated me 3 years ago for a frozen shoulder. Prior to that, I was told by a physiotherapist that injection was the only way to treat it. Thank God I didn't listen to the physiotherapist. I now have full use of my shoulder.
Recently, I returned to Dr Parmer a month ago as my heels were hurting. She again successfully treated them and now I can walk freely, without any pain. At the same time, she also treated the back of my knee which I'd pulled while exercising which is all good now. I would highly recommend Laser Pain Therapy to everyone.

I was referred to Shikha by my dentist for treatment of my terrible TMJ flare. I had been successfully treated via conservative methods previously but was not responding to similar treatment earlier this year.

I had researched light therapy before for other reasons and knew the science was sound but wasn't sure how it could help with any of the pain I was experiencing. My first consultation with Shikha, she took a very thorough medical history and gave me a run down of the treatment protocol. I had initially thought perhaps I could also seek treatment for some issues I have with my hip but Shikha was very upfront and honest with me regarding this. As my hip problem is due to biomechanics, light therapy would not lead to long term recovery without fixing the problem with the structure before treating inflammation. It was possible to try but she did not want to lead me down the garden path.

I highly valued her honesty in that situation and that was one of the biggest motivators for me to continue with treatment for my TMJ. This was demonstrated time again over my repeat visits during my treatment protocol and her continuing assessment of my condition.

At the end of my treatment protocol, my TMJ has remained entirely pain free and I've been able to reduce the amount of medication taken to manage it. Laser therapy is 100% worth trying and sticking with it to improve quality of life and reduce pain. I have recommended it to many people I know with issues that could potentially see improvement through laser light therapy.

Shikha's transparency, professionalism and determination to help her patients is to be very highly regarded and I could not recommend her services more. I will be returning after hip surgery to aid my long-term recovery and address any soft tissue issues I may have.

I would also like to highly commend Vijini in the front office for being so flexible with my appointments and constantly putting up with my needing to reschedule. Incredibly helpful and so lovely to deal with!

I recently developed Insertional Achilles tendonitis and was not seeing any improvement from physiotherapy sessions. I was unable to do any weight bearing exercises and had to stop running completely as it was too painful. I saw Dr Parmar about my issue and commenced a 12-session treatment plan. As we progressed through the treatment plan, I saw a remarkable decrease in pain and improvement of function and was able to slowly reintroduce a walk/run training plan. As the treatment plan came to an end, I am now back running 4 days per week and most importantly pain free. Thank you, Dr Parmar, for your treatment and guidance!

Very very effective treatment. With laser pain therapy Dr Parma was able to completely cure an injury in my right shoulder that I've had for over ten years, and more than substantially alleviate the symptoms of an injury in my left shoulder. Having bursitis in my shoulder, i gave laser pain therapy a go. After 12 sessions in 5 weeks of intense red light laser therapy, i can truly say that i have no more pain. I cannot recommend this therapy enough.

Laser Pain Therapy has helped me avoid further Surgery on my back. I was suffering chronic back pain 12 months post-Surgery and facing a Spinal Fusion. I travelled to Melbourne from Bendigo twice a week to undergo Laser Pain Therapy, and it was well worth it. This treatment reduced my back pain and enabled me to live a normal, drug-free life again. I suffered from sciatic pain for over six months, my options were back surgery with no guarantee that the operation would resolve my sciatica. I was in constant pain and prescription pain killers.

Laser pain therapy honestly changed my life. I was in so much pain with upper and lower back pain and struggling daily, I couldn’t get up from laying down and the chronic pain was wearing me down. I was scheduled for back surgery when my friend convinced me to put it on hold and try the laser pain treatments instead. Since doing the 12 laser sessions at this clinic, and a 1 sessions top up every 3 months I have been pain free for around 2 years now. The quality of my life has improved beyond anything I could have hoped for and I could not be more grateful for the results. I feel lucky and thankful every day to be able to function normally and not be in pain all the time now. This treatment is amazing. I have recommended it to everyone I know and it has also achieved amazing results for my aunties hip pain, and 2 other friend’s lower back pain. It worked on both soft tissue injury and arthritis for me. I really hope more people learn about this treatment and allow it to help them heal their injuries and chronic pain, instead of getting more invasive treatments like surgery etc. Couldn’t recommend it more highly. The doctor is also really lovely and helpful.

Have waited to review to see if I had any major back issue post treatment. I am so happy to say that this has been the most effective treatment for my back in the past 3 years. Dr Parmar was so thorough and attentive throughout the weeks of my therapy. I will definitely return to her if I get any flare ups. Highly recommend this treatment, I was it my last stop before getting an injection from my GP! I had tried - Osteo and Physio prior and also had the same issue a month later. My tenis elbow condition was painful and stopped me from carrying on with my daily activities. After 12 sessions of laser therapy I am pain free and arm mobility has reestablished too. Their advise and support was outstanding too.

I have just completed a course of 12 Laser Pain Therapy treatments with Dr Shikha Parmar and am very happy with the results.
I have suffered from sciatic pain in my leg and back off and on for over 15 years as the result of a ruptured disc.
Like many other people, I have tried a variety of back pain treatments without success.
The treatments are non invasive and painless and I am now moving freely and without pain.
Dr Parmar was very thorough in reviewing the history of my injury and treatments. Her advice regarding exercise regimes and managing a progressive recovery was first class.
The important thing was being patient with the treatments and listening to Dr Parmar’s advice at each session.
Dr Parmar is a Medical Practitioner with a number of specialist qualifications. She is very professional with a pleasant no nonsense approach.

Recently I completed Laser Therapy for a frozen shoulder. By the end of the 12 sessions I regained the use of my left arm. Although it is still in the unfreezing stage, the discomfort has significantly reduced and I am no longer limited by it. Dr Parmar also provided me with a home exercise program which has been valuable. I know it is important to do them as instructed. They don't take a lot of time. I can't recommend Dr Palmer enough, I am a firefighter with 30 plus years experience love my job but was really struggling with arthritis in my knee it wasn't getting any better and I was really struggling to work, after limping around for over 12 months nothing was helping so I tried low level laser therapy finished a round of therapy and for the first time in over 12 months I could walk normaliy and had no where near the pain and new I could now manage my arthritis.

Dr Parmar treated me for pain in my feet (Morton’s Neuroma) and also for chronic lower back pain.
My feet have not felt this good in years, even after many visits to a podiatrist and othotics prescribed!
As for my back, it is now also 100% pain free and I’m working of strengthening it to ensure it doesn’t flare up again.

I was suffering from Ankle Tendonitis for almost 1 year, living with chronic pain.
